In reality, oppression of Albanians continued from 1945 to 1966, the fall of Tito’s strongman Ranković (Serbian quasi-Stalinist politician). Until Tito’s death in 1980, Kosovo had been, economically, Yugoslav black hole, sucking in vast amounts of money from all republics that contributed to keep it quiet; in the meantime, Kosovo Albanians rose from 65% to over 90% in population after Tito’s death & created their own educated classes (Priština University has, after reforms in 1960s, taught both in Serbian & Albanian).

The rise of modern nationalism among Albanians was not successfully quelled in the whole period leading to Milošević’s struggle to transform Yugoslavia from an uneasy consensus of South Slavic nations controlled by (theoretically) supra-national Communist Party to the open Serbian hegemony. After Milošević (and most Serbs) lost all wars in Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albanians- who had been living in the past 15 years under police terror & intimidation- rose in revolt, but were losing due to numerous factors (poorly armed, untrained, their area studded with Serbian Army garrisons,..).

That is why that plan had to be postponed until the 90s. Tito, Croats, and Slovenians ruled Communist Yugoslavia until the 90s.

Tito’s main job was to ruin Serbian people as much as possible, as Serbs are Orthodox Christians and Monarchists, who fought against Tito’s communists as well as against Nazis in the WW2.

There were 100s of locations in WW2 Nazi Croatia (pit caves, pits, villages, towns, etc.) where Serbs were slaughtered including multiple large extermination camps. Croats even had at least one extermination camp just for Serbian children. Estimates of Serb deaths in the largest, but not the only one, extermination camp called Jasenovac (5 times the size of Auschwitz) according to Gideon Greif [2], were at least 1.4 million. He explained that Serbs were tortured/slaughtered in 57 different ways. He also mentioned that the total number is for sure higher as many victims were not buried in mass graves, but rather thrown into Sava river, burned in furnaces, made soap of (yes you read that right – Croats made soap of murdered Serbs), etc. Note that those were extermination camps and not concentration camps, as Croats did not feed the prisoners, since they were brought in to be slaughtered asap. According to American WW2 findings/reports, around 1,300 Croatian Catholic priests took direct part in murders, rapes, etc. Yes, you read that right – Croatian Catholic priests slitting throats, raping women and girls, torturing people, etc. as reported by USA WW2 archives.

However, the Russian leadership has itself to blame for not having been able to shake off its inherently chauvinist attitudes toward Europe, its odious Stalinist legacy, irredentism and neo-imperial ambitions. This already became evident in the summer of 1994, when the last Russian troops left the Baltic states but refused to vacate the illegally occupied territory of Königsberg / Kaliningrad, located between Poland, Lithuania, and the Baltic Sea. This region had never been a historical part of Russia and was taken over from Germany during the final weeks of the war in 1945, in contravention of a basic principle in the charter of the United Nations (UN), which was already being promulgated at that time. (The San Francisco Conference, which preceded the formal founding of the UN, began in April 19145, as the war in Europe was still in progress.) In the 1990 unification treaty, Germany did not formally cede this occupied territory to Russia, as it did with regard to other territories that had been under Polish administration, thereby postponing a final resolution into the future.

As was understood by many back then, Russian forces remaining in the Königsberg / Kaliningrad region preserved its option to militarily reconquer the three eastern Baltic states, that had been part of the USSR, at a later time, for which a shallow pretext could easily be concocted. This implicit Russian threat against its neighbors, which persists to this day, contributed to a general urge for eastern Europeans to seek a defensive alliance with NATO, yet the quoted passage above appears to suggest that NATO functionaries somehow pushed the organization’s presence upon a reluctant and putatively ignorant population. The truth is that they were actually glad to receive such security commitments against the possibility of future Russian attacks against their sovereignty. (Russian propagandists are oblivious to the fact that its neighboring populations dislike Russia for historical reasons.)

In late 1994 the Budapest Memorandum acknowledged the US and UK as guarantors of Ukrainian independence and security in exchange for Ukraine’s relinquishing control of nuclear weapons. In the wake of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, shortly before which He unilaterally decided that it had no right to exist as an independent nation and therefore needed to be taken over entirely by means of a military coup in Kiev, which was intended to last for only three days, based on the food provisions allotted to its invading troops (euphemistically yet dutifully still referred to as a special military operation even after more than 960 days), the US and UK therefore had a contractual obligation to assist Ukraine in its defensive efforts.

A common narrative casually thrown out as an alleged cause for this ongoing war has been the theme of NATO’s eastward expansion, in part because He had provocatively proclaimed his Holy Red-Lines in January 2022, namely that NATO troops must leave all those eastern European countries that He would need to subjugate once again if his desire to reverse the break-up of the USSR – which he has publicly announced at a forum in Königsberg / Kaliningrad in March 2018 – could be advanced, so as to facilitate the resurrection of Russia’s due sphere of influence, as he envisioned it in his delusions of grandeur. Nearly concurrently, in the spring of 2018, this occupied region, where Russia maintains a naval base, began to host nuclear-capable Iskander missiles, with a range of 500 km, to threaten the Baltic and eastern European populations. As I have explained, this flawed western expansion story is an intentional reversal of causality.

If there is to be a lasting peace in the eastern European region after Putin’s war has ended, the actual source of the long running problem needs to be addressed instead of naïvely mischaracterizing its inevitable symptoms as a superficial cause. Therefore, if an end to Russia’s illegal occupation in the Königsberg / Kaliningrad region, along with preparations for its future status, is not part of a comprehensive settlement that would obviously also address the future of Ukraine, then Russia, as in the case with Israel, will continue to remain a rogue state that cannot be trusted and whose war-mongering leaders deserve to be diplomatically ostracized, sanctioned – and usurped from within.

Maybe, I suppose it’s true in some ways, but I met Serbs and Croats and in my limited experience, I never saw Serbs hating on Croats, while the opposite is more true — lots of Croats seem to be rabid anti-Serbs. I’m not sure if it’s about Catholic vs Orthodox, this aspect is rarely mentioned and most people are not even religious nowadays. It’s probably more related to the various wars and conflicts they had.

I guess it’s because the Serbs were traditionally the more dominant force. Serbian has been named Serbian and Serbian-Slavic. This evidently is not the case with the varieties of English, German, French,….

2. you have to have the same literary corpus, at least in the beginning. In the case of English, you got Beowulf, Piers Ploughman, various texts from Chancery, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Locke, Gibbon,… or in German Meister Eckhart, Grimmelhausen, Uhland, Goethe, Kant, Marx, Musil, Kafka, …. In the case of Serbian (Saint Sava’s texts, Dušan’s codex, Dositej Obradović, Jovan Raić, Sava Mrkalj, Vuk Karadžić, Laza Lazarević, Miloš Crnjanski,..) and Croatian (Baška tablet, Vinodol codex, Hrvoje’s Missal, Džore Držić, Marko Marulić, Vatican Croatian Prayer Book, Bartol Kašić, Ivan Belostenec, Junije Palmotić, Ivan Mažuranić, Bogoslav Šulek, August Šenoa, Miroslav Krleža,..)- you got two non-intersecting language corpora. Which is not the case with, say, American and British English, or German in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Croatian and Serbian differ 99.9%.

3. you have to have the same language-cultural community, or speakers who not only understands “other” group(s), but forms a cultural-historical unity with them. Croatian speakers do not belong to the same cultural-historical- language community with Serbs & Bosniaks. Nor do Serbs & Bosniaks do with “others”. The same goes for Urdu and Hindi.

4. you have to have the standardization process that took place at the same time & the same place. For Croatian, standardization has begun in the early 17th C (Kašić’s grammar in 1604, Kašić’s Roman Rite in 1640, Mikalja’s dictionary in 1649, Divković’s sermons in 1611), continued in the 18th C (Belostenec, Della Bella, Džamanjić, Jambrešić, Relković, Kačić Miošić, Stulli) & was finalized in the 19th C (Gaj, Babukić, Mažuranić, Veber, Šulek, Maretić, Broz). Serbian language has begun its standardization in the 18th C (Avramović, Obradović, Vezilić..) and was basically standardized in the 19th C (Karadžić, Daničić, Novaković, Popović..)

So- that goes to the beginning of the answer: no, they’re similar & close different languages, but not varieties of one language.

There is no meaning in “essentially”. Old Bosnian kingdom, which perished in Ottoman invasion in 1463 was mixed, but there were ca. 80% Catholics, 10% Eastern Orthodox & 10% Bosnian Church adherents. Catholics were of the same stock as southern Croats in Dalmatia & spoke specifically Croatian vernacular one can consult historical dialectology). There were Serbs, too, in the area of Eastern Bosnia & Hum. Ottoman census in 1527. counts 57% Catholics, 34% Muslims and 9% Orthodox. Catholics had been decimated in the next two centuries of warfare (principal Ottoman enemies were Catholic forces- Austria, Venice, Spain), while Muslims and Orthodox grew in numbers. They differentiated into three peoples with different cultures (elite & folk- cuisine, clothing, types of non-standardized vernacular, script, songs, historical memories, cultural elites,..).

Pre-Ottoman Bosnians were mostly of Croatian stock, but they could have developed into a separate people- or not, we will never know since the Ottoman conquest & migrations changed it all.

Be very careful when studying Croatian “academics” as their books and papers are close to completely based on fiction and forgeries, including past references, documents, maps, etc.

For example, 3 main “pillars” of Croatian “nationhood” and “identity” were proven to be lies, forgeries, fiction, and co-opting: Bascanska plaque, Baptismal of King Viseslav, and Pacta Conventa. There are others of course, but these are the biggest lies. There were never any Croatian Kings and there was never any Kingdom of Croatia – all fiction and lies.

You said it correctly that both Croats and Bosnian Muslims are descendants of religious converts (Serbs that converted to Catholicism or Islam), and made into new nations by the West/Vatican and Tito’s communists.

As you know, allegedly 3 languages are spoken in Bosnia, yet never any translators are ever needed.

Here’s the list:
1) so called Croatian language: Dialect of the Serbian language with many new words invented in the past decades to make it appear different.
2) so called Bosnian language: Also dialect of the Serbian language – close to unchanged.
3) so called Montenegrin: An artificial language for an artificial nation based on the Serbian language invented in the 21st century, tweaked grammar, added words, etc.

Latin alphabet these unfortunate converts use is essentially just a Latin version of the Serbian alphabet, incorrectly called Cyrillic alphabet. Any text written in either can be converted back and forth without any loss.

Croats and Bosnian Muslim are also hiding and tweaking genetic research results as well by omitting samples that would show that they have identical genes to Serbs as they are former Serbs. Croats also have a hard time deciding which direction to lie regarding their “roots” – to claim either to be Illyrians or to be from Iran.

As I mentioned before, Serbian Party won the elections in Dubrovnik in 1890, and there were no Croats in AHE census books at that time, and now they are zero Serbs there, as they were either force converted, murdered, or expelled, and Dubrovnik is close to 100% Croats-only now. This is the same pattern everywhere in Contemporary Nazi Croatia.

You must take into account that medieval, pre-Ottoman Bosnian polity was perhaps 70-80% of what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina, but, right- the Orthodox were to be found only in the easternmost part, basically near the Drina river & eastern Hum/Herzegovina. They were mixed with Orthodox Vlachs, a paleo-Balkan shepherding indigenous population which was first linguistically Romanized & later Slavicized. In the case of the triangle where Herzegovina, eastern Serbia & Montenegro meet, there was a numerous Orthodox Vlach population which was excluded in some legal documents, for instance in Serbian ruler Dušan’s code, 1349, from intermarrying with “real” Serbs.
Then, Turks conquered these lands in the 15th & 16th C and many Orthodox Vlachs, by then mostly Serbianized, moved along with the advancing Ottoman forces as the auxiliary troops.

Because fierce fighting in the west of Bosnia (historically called “Turkish Croatia”) devastated & depopulated vast swaths of the land, Ottomans settled in these parts many Serbs & Serbianized Vlachs, along with Islamized Bosnians. A part of that Orthodox people, later nationally crystallized as Serbs, switched their allegiance to the Habsburg authorities that settled them in parts of Croatia proper, now administratively reorganized as the Croatian military border under the direct supervision of the Vienna court. These Orthodox people, comprising 40-50% of Croatian military border/frontier, were ancestors of later so called “Krajina Serbs”, who in the 1990-1991 period were instrumentalized by Serbia’s government of Milošević to carve out a part of Croatia for the imagined Greater Serbia, and were finally defeated in 1995 in the Operation Storm. Those residing in Banja Luka & the western part of what is now Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, were spared of crushing defeat by Croatian and Bosnian Muslim forces due to American geopolitical plans & intervention- Americans intended to keep Bosnia and Herzegovina a single state, which would be impossible had massive population transfer, which would have emptied out western Bosnia of Serbs had happened. Then, Serbs would have been reduced to ca. 20-25% in the east & the rest would have been divided between Croats & Muslims.

No, nothing complex, I meant “Italian speaking whites”. Because now, due to mass migrations the EU seems impotent to stop, there are over 1 million blacks in Italy & also many Arabs. In 1960 or so, there were 900,000 births in Italy; now, it is 400,000, with 21% of them involving at least one non-Italian parent (some of non-Italians may be from other European countries, but I suspect that most are non-Europeans).

The answer is simple: By taking over areas where Serbs lived piece by price through mass murder, expulsion, forced conversion to Catholicism, and forcing people to declare themselves as Croats no matter what true ethnicity they belonged to for as long as they were Catholics. So the entire territory where Serbs lived (essentially most of today’s Contemporary Nazi Croatia territory) got split into smaller and smaller areas overtime and those ended up being just island among bloodthirsty Catholic converts, which were ultimately cleansed too. They killed and expelled Orthodox Christian Serbs every chance they got. After mass murders of Serbs in the WW1, genocide in the WW2 (Vatican Holocaust), and NATO 90s, only few have left.

As I mentioned, Croats not only killed and expelled Orthodox Christian Serbs, but everyone else they lived among or with – Serbs (WW1, WW2, 90s), Italians (WW2), Jews (WW2), and Gypsies/Romas (WW2).

That is why Contemporary Nazi Croatia is more than 95% Croats-only, while they describe themselves as some victims.

Just ask the liars to provide any proof of those population ethnic and religious percentages, existence of Turkish Croatia, Croatian Kings, and Kingdom of Croatia, that are NOT in books/papers written by Croats or Germans or Austrians or Vatican.

Excellent observation. Why would two different languages be bundled under one title? Indeed, there was no German-Hungarian language in the Austro-Hungarian Empire (AHE).

The answer: There were no two languages – that was just Serbian language that Tito’s communists (Balkan’s Stalin, aka Tito was a non-Serb) labeled as Serbo-Croatian to allow eventual claim by the Croats that that was some language of theirs. 3) Language and alphabet shenanigans. As I mentioned, relabeling the Serbian language as Serbo-Croatian and declaring one Serbian language dialect used by Croatian converts as some separate language. Latin alphabet – just a Latin version of the Serbian alphabet to be used by Croats. Any text written in either can be converted back and forth without any loss. Everyone was involved in this: Vatican, Austro-Hungarian Empire (AHE), paid agents of the AHE (e.g. Vuk Karadzic, a Serb who married into Catholicism and most likely converted too), and even Russia! Yes, Russia was involved against Serbian people!

It sounds like the real problem is that Serbia needs to be separate from Yugoslavia. Like the real country is basically from the Serb lands up to Austria including Slovenia. Very astute observation! There are many reasons, and here are the three biggest ones:

1) Complete betrayal of Milosevic of all the Serbs outside of Serbia! I.e, in Krajina and Bosnia. He had no intention to fight for anything or for anyone. If you’d believe it, he helped NATO and Croats destroy Krajina. Yes, you read that right? There are witnesses, internal documents and recordings confirming this without any doubt. US “promised” to leave him alone if he helps them destroy Serbs there. We know how that deal with the devil worked out for him [1][2].

After all that, Franjo Tudjman publicly praised Milosevic by saying: “Milosevic has b…s, one can arrange anything with him!”

2) Complete betrayal of Russia/Kremlin of the Serbs:
a) In 1992, Russia voted with NATO in the UNSC for the strictest sanctions ever imposed on any country ever against Serbia. UNSC Resolution 757.
b) If you’d believe it, Russia actually armed brand new Nazi country Croatia’s Army in 1993/1994, while violating international arms embargo in the process. With those weapons, remaining Krajina Serb civilians were killed and expelled from Croatia. Croats ended up even refusing to pay Russia for those, and Russia ultimately forgave them what they owed. With friends like Russia …
c) There were many more that came later.

3) High treason within the leadership of Bosnian Serbs – behind the scenes, Radovan Karadzic took large bribes from Alija Izetbegovic (separatists leader of Bosnian Muslims, Jihadist and WW2 Nazi soldier) to sabotage actions and order withdrawal of Serbian army from liberated areas/cities including Bihac. Bribes together were more than 24 million of today’s euros equivalent. Some of them even say it was more than 40 million!

It was the radical islamist bosniacs who rejected cantonization, and this was already agreed beforehand with Serbs and Croats.

Early on, Milosevic offered Alija Izetbegovic to be the first president of what’s left of Yugoslavia (the original one minus Slovenia and Croatia), he agreed, and then went to Washington , where he was instructed to start a war. The area of Croatia and Bosnia were historically “western” vs. the “eastern” Serbia. It’s the same division between Catholic and Orthodox, at no time was the Western part originally Serbian. The word Croatia is also found in the Western Ukraine, outside the Balkans.

In the Serbian village of Smiljan, where Tesla was born and where his father was an Orthodox priest, almost all Serbs were killed during WWII and the rest during the war in the 90s. Today, there are no Serbs in Tesla’s native village at all.

Croatia as a country never existed until Hitler’s aggression in 1941 when a German puppet state was created. Also in 1992, Germany was the first to recognise Croatia (and Bosnia) within their communist borders and pressured other EU countries to do the same. They took Serbian territories and part of the Serbian people, which was one of the causes of the war.

Btw, the Croats, who never had their own territories, begged the Serbs in 1918 to accept them into Yugoslavia because they knew that they would be assimilated by the Germans already in the first generation. Although the Croats, as Austrian soldiers, committed terrible crimes against the Serbs in WWI, the Serbs still accepted them, which was their biggest historical mistake, which was confirmed 20 years later when the Croats, in the manner already described, committed genocide against almost 1.5 million Serbs.

In the end, it can be said that converts are the worst kind of people, like for example Croats (or Galicians) who have no history, no state, no language, no culture and, especially, no shame like the respective EOD POS above, who invented a non-existent ‘Turkish Croatia’.

The most concise description was carved in stone above the door of the church in Magdeburg – God, save us from Plague, War, and Croats. (Gott, behutte uns von Pesten, Krieger und Kroaten), which stood there since 1630 until WWII, when it was taken down by the Nazi regime.

It’s on that fault line which developed the Bosnian nationality, regardless of religion. It stands to reason that Serbia never extended into modern day Croatia, even if the kingdom held territory there at some point.

The division of Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Croatia is natural besides long history. Here’s another question: why is the Serbian district of Romanija near Sarajevo surrounded in Bosniak territory? How did this enclave develop?

Yes, I have followed some of Daniel’s documentaries. Lauren Guyenot previously recommended me one on the Goths, which supported my (and his) claim that the Goths were not Germans (this one has an English translation):

The documentaries are well-produced, professionally done, and contain a lot of new information. My only criticism is that Daniel is very cautious about mentioning the Serbian name. It is well-known that the Romanians are descendants of the Dacians (the so-called Goths), who were one indigenous tribe that spoke Serbian. Some of them even became Roman emperors, such as Galerius, Diocletian’s son-in-law, who issued the Edict of Tolerance of Christianity two years before Constantine, and his childhood friend, Emperor Licinius. All those mentioned here were Serbs.

The Romanian mainstream conceals the fact that the Jesuits worked for 300 years and created an artificial nation with an artificial language, similar to Esperanto. Despite several purification campaigns, Romanian still contains about a quarter of Serbian words. Romanians are genetically Serbs whose identity was altered by the Jesuits to separate them from the Russians.

They officially belonged to the Serbian Orthodox Church until 1924, when they purchased the tomos of autocephaly from the Phanar. Serbs lived in many places in ancient times – below is Asian Minor map [4] with Serbian toponyms that you can find even today. Not all of them are listed there, plus many of them have been renamed or perished over centuries in wars, famine, migrations, etc.

Also, German-Serbian dictionary book (published in 1791) title is “Deutsch und Illyrisches Wörterbuch zum Gebrauch der Illyrischen Nation in den K. K. Staaten” [1].

Serbs converted to Christianity in the Apostolic times – St. Paul mentioning Illyricum in Romans 15:19 [3].

Wendy is another name for Serbs – e.g., Wendish (Sorb) Museum in Germany [2].

You may ask why there are so many names? It’s simple, in the old times, people were referred to primarily by the name of the territory they lived in, and not by their ethnicity; that is why so many different names for the Serbian people in ancient books.

That was not Bosniak’s territory, it was all territory where Serbs lived (Orthodox Christian Serbs and Serbs of Muslim faith (aka Bosnian Muslims, renamed in 1993 as Bosniaks), and that enclave was what left of Orthodox Christian Serbs after WW1 (28% of all Serbs perished), Vatican Holocaust in the WW2 (genocide of the Serbian people, at least 1.8 million murdered according to Nazi reports) and mass murder of the Serbs throughout the civil war in the 90s. Croats and Bosnian Muslims had a license to kill Serbs at will and still have! E.g. at least 7,500 Serb civilians were murdered by Bosnian Muslims in Sarajevo alone – arrested/kidnapped, tortured, Serbian girls/women gang raped, and disposed into mass graves. None of this will ever be reported in NATO/MSM. Another example out of many: Muslim war lord, Naser Oric, on the orders of Alija Izetbegovic (separatist leader of Bosnian Muslims) slaughtered 3,500 Serb civilians in Srebrenica and surrounding villages. No, there was no genocide in Srebrenica against Muslims, that was just British lie concocted 7 years after the civil war ended. Dutch battalion entered Srebrenica with the Serbian Army and provided 100-page+ detailed report stating clearly that nobody was executed, but was ignored by the Hague.

Since Hans has been so kind and allowed debunking of Croatian lies under his article, as those responses were off-topic, I’d like to greet him with my favorite Serbian greeting: “Serbus!”

Now, many people have trouble pronouncing ‘rb’; they usually soften it to ‘rv’, so they say “Servus!” like Germans.

Also, clam that Serb/Serbus means ‘slave’ is another Vatican lie. The name Serb means a friend, a cousin. That is how people greet each other using that, without even knowing the true meaning, all due to Vatican lies. In other words, they do not call each other a slave, but rather a friend, a cousin. That is so nice!

Similar hard-to-pronounce reasons as well as misspellings over centuries caused ‘Srb’/Serb’ to end up as: ‘Sirb’, ‘Sarb’, ‘Sirm’, ‘Serb’, ‘Sorb’, ‘Sard’, ‘Sarm’, already mentioned ‘Serv’, and even ‘Zorb’! If they were in Asia Minor, that explains the “Iranian” origin. Moving west into Illyrium then settled by slavonic people at the end of the Roman era. It sounds like how Bulgarian and Hungarian developed as territorial names, despite the people being Slavic for the most part. There was some kind of Slavic migration and the name “Serb” has been picked up for the territory.

Sandman, I hope you’ll open your mind and learn something. Before Anon001 answers you, let me provide a few key points. Serbs (‘I’ haplogroup portion of them) are indigenous to Europe and the Balkans, having lived there since the Paleolithic era (approximately 36,000 years ago, since the beginning of ‘I’ haplogroup, which is the only Euro haplogroup). Over time, their language evolved. In Vinča, their ancestors established the oldest European civilisation, culture, mythology, and language. Around 7,000 years ago, they experienced the first Industrial Revolution (metal melting), after which, following the retreat of the Ice Age, they began migrating in all directions.

Approximately 4,800 years ago, primitive nomads from the Russian steppes arrived in Europe and became the ancestors of today’s Western Europeans, who later committed genocide against the native populations. Around 4,000 years ago, Serbian-speaking tribes (the Aryans) migrated to Southeast Asia, India, Tibet, and China, where their language influenced the development of Sanskrit. Shortly after, a second wave moved into Iran, giving rise to Avestan from their language.

Bulgarians and Hungarians emerged much later, formed by the mixing of a small number of Asian tribes with Serbs who were native to present-day Bulgaria (6-8th century) and present-day Hungary (around 896 AD). It’s a long story, but the native Serbs assimilated the Asian Bulgarians, who adopted their language and Christianity. In Hungary, it was the opposite, as both the Vatican and Constantinople sought to suppress the Serbs.

Albanians originally came from the Caucasus. As Muslims, they fled to Saudi Arabia, with some settling in the Muslim part of Sicily, while others were assimilated in Syria. After living in Sicily for 200 years, they eventually arrived in the Balkans (then Serbia, now Albania) in 1043. Unable to return, they asked the Serbian ruler for permission to stay and raise livestock. Permission was granted, and they paid a symbolic fee in cattle. This continued for 400 years until the Ottomans invaded the Balkans. At that point, the Albanians, recalling their Muslim roots, began persecuting Serbian Christians—a trend that persists until today.

No Serbs were in both places, and all around Europe. Serbs are the indigenous people of the Peninsula and many areas in Europe – hence Limes Sorabicus. Slavs is the name introduced in the 6th century.

Actually, and if you’d believe it, Serbian uprising ended Roman Empire. I.e., Serbs freed their territories occupied by the RE. But that’s forbidden history. Hence creation of many forgeries including Pseudo-Porphyrogennetos to hide that, along with the main fake story of some barbarians waiting for decades at the border for RE to weaken enough in order to get in.

Note: Vatican hates the name Serb as it’s ancient and has been trying to make it extinct by using the term ‘Sclavs’ instead and for centuries now. Vatican uses that exclusively for Serbs, as for Russians and Bulgarians, Vatican uses their own names in documents. Hence how the name Slavs is everywhere instead of Serbs. Croats extend that even further by calling Serbs Vlachs, which is complete nonsense.

That’s where those tribes they came from. Albanians were mostly shepherds and are very primitive even today. As I mentioned, today’s Albanian was created on the land stolen from the Serbian people in 1912 by the British and Austro-Hungarian Empire (AHE). Today’s Albanians are a mix of Shqiptar tribes, Turks, others, and assimilated Serbs that converted to Islam during OE times. For example, Dua Lipa looks like a Serbian beauty and not as Albanian woman – most likely Serbian genes of one of those converts. Hashim Thaci’s great grandfather was a priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church that converted to Islam. He even knows which Orthodox patron saint his family celebrated while they were Orthodox.

P.S. See 2 videos in my comment #182 for detailed explanation that includes Albanian linguists and historians telling who the Skenderbeg was and that Albanians are not Illyrians. One of the most prominent Albania’s researchers that reported that Albanians were not Illyrians, was fired from his job, and after much pressure and treats, committed suicide. There are Albanian Orthodox as well, so the population was converted like other people from the Turkish conquest.

The Germanic tribes were noted by the Romans to have recently arrived on their frontiers around the year 100 bc, the Celtic peoples were not “primitive nomads” but an expansive culture throughout Western Europe and the Mediterranean. There are always earlier waves of population ofc.

Is there linguistic evidence tying the Roman era Illyrian language to Serbian? How does all this connect to Slavic world like Russia?

Here’s hoping you’ll work just as hard to find negative qualities (including capacity for lying) in every other cultural, religious, ethnic and racial group everywhere.

Sandman, this about the Germanic tribes is good information for panzers who have no idea about their history and origins and don’t even know the meaning of their name. Here, you tell us where they came from so I don’t do it.

You see, when the nomads from the Russian steppes came to Europe, the Euro natives had a high culture, they knew about metals, built houses and temples, knew about agriculture, gold processing, crafts, knew mathematics and astronomy, had a calendar and literacy, made artistic figures, made cheese and jewellery, used perfumes, wore miniskirts and much more. These nomads who came to Europe did not have or know any of the previous. Their entire economy was nomadic following their herd of cattle. In terms of civilization, they were at least a couple of thousand years late. That is why I say that they were primitive compared to the natives.

The mainstream is still trying to convince everyone that they brought the language, which they first called Indo-Germanic and later changed to the equally meaningless name, Indo-European, and that these primitive tribes imposed that language in every corner of Europe and most of Asia. What the mainstream calls ‘Indo-European’ is in fact the Serbian language that has continuity from the Palaeolithic (the Italian linguist Alinei established this) to the present day. The inhabitants of Vinča (including the Aryans) spread that language all over the world through migrations.

A few thousand years later, all Slavic languages, including Russian and Polish, arose from that language. So, any claim (there was one PoS claim here) about some supposedly separate languages, which recently appeared out of nowhere, is meaningless. Whoever claims the existence of a separate language, he should state at least 4000 years of its previous history if it arose from a proto-language, or he should say from which language it separated to become a separate language.

You sound like those African Hebrews ranting in the middle of NYC about how “dey was here first”. I have no idea where any of this is coming from, there must be some whole other world of Delusional Butthurt Serbianism. I’m completely unfamiliar with anything except geography and history, I know that Serbs and Croats hates each other but never heard anything about the magical history of Greater Serbia.

I do know that “germanic” means original or pure, it was the Romans who used this name for the Teutonic tribes and others who had arrived east of the Rhine and north of the Alps. They did not come from the steppes of Hither Asia so many thousands of years ago, the migration going north and west reaches the Rhine around 0 AD. Looks like you completely ignored the Celtic people, one thing for sure the Balkans seems a lot more backward than northwestern Europe today. It was definitely migrating through the Ukraine into the Balkans and up towards what is now Germany, starting perhaps 4000 years ago.

At the same time, I don’t know how you can look at most Europeans and think that it’s radically different anyway. There’s all kinds and types of people in every nation and Serbs are one of many groups in the old world. You cannot discern what is rooted in empirical reality & what is not, simply by reading a post at quora. It requires knowledge of a situation far beyond anything an average outsider knows about these, for them, marginal issues.
