Kaplan may be a New York City resident, but he has a curious history.

He is originally from South Florida, but went to boarding school abroad, and then to Oxford for multiple degrees in history. That seems to be a fairly unusual profile for an American citizen.

How someone with that background became so successful through investments in precious metals also bears further scrutiny. No doubt it has something to do with his marrying into the Recanati family.

There is a book out there called: The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit and Its Impact on World History (2008), ISBN 0-929891-07-4. In it author E. Michael Jones that tell what our future might portend if current trends continue.

In one chapter Jones describes the country of Poland before the First Partition and shows how Jews were able to accumulate immense power particularly at the expense Polish middle class and the lower classes.

How many people realize that a few hundred years ago Jews ended up having their own defacto country within Poland almost totally independent of the control of the Polish king. This independence was guaranteed by it having its own mercenary armies that were larger and better equipped than those of the those of the Polish civil authorities ? Other smaller settlements of Jews in Poland also had what amounted to their own mercenary armies.This was occurring during what has been called the “Arendar Period” in which Jews virtually destroyed the Polish gentile middle class by bribing government officials to allow either for the setting up of government enforced monopolies (examples: taverns,alcohol production) in numerous businesses or for the establishment of licensing laws that resulted in the Polish gentile middle class, which didn’t have access to funds to buy the required licenses, being unable to work unless through the auspices of very exploitative Jewish licensees. Almost of the lower classes were driven further and further into debt by usury. As years passed, many of the previous middle class Polish gentiles saw themselves and their descendents sliding back into serfdom and servitude as their unhindered access to commerce was increasingly throttled off.

Poland aristocratic landholders didn’t complain because, just like the gentile “one percenters” of today , they benefited from the corrupt system by having been granted access to favorable and loans and other investments. In 1652 there was a massive uprising of serfs in Poland. Many Jews were killed. You can find mention of this in most Jewish history books. What isn’t mentioned in these books is the fact that even more Polish gentile aristocrats than Jews were killed by the rampaging serfs because the mobs blamed the aristocrats for allowing the Jews to exploit them so horribly.

By the time of the First Partition it had gotten so bad that a Jew could kill a Gentile for almost any reason whatsoever with little or no chance of punishment. Part of the reason for this immunity was because Jews had insisted on and had been granted complete legal autonomy that made their court system almost totally separate separate from those of the regular civil authorities. Only Jews were considered fit to judge Jews. The few times Jews were actually forced into appearing before gentile courts, they were notorious for bribing their gentile judges.

One of the main reasons for the setting up of the so called Pale of Settlement in which Jews were forced to move by the Russian czar after the Partitions was specifically to prevent continued Jewish exploitation of the Polish working classes. All this gives us what might well be an view of what might be the eventual situation in the future if so called “hate crimes” legislation continues to be pushed and expanded. It won’t be long before favored groups are allowed to kill other less favored groups with impunity merely because the more favored group member claims he “felt threatened.”There is a reason why Trayvon Martin was treated so sympathetically in the media. The author fails to provide a single piece of evidence on the litany of allegations against the Iranian opposition group the MEK.

And post-2011, the MEK was under Iraqi government and UN monitoring.

MEK will be celebrating its fiftieth founding anniversary next week. The West, with all the similar simple-minded anti-semitism expressed by too many posters here (but not Mr. Giraldi), endemic then throughout its societies, did nothing to prevent mass extermination, sanction Germany or rescue the beleaguered Jews, particularly the millions without the wealth and connections to escape. Strategic bombing of the rail lines to the concentration camps, an effective wrench into the extermination gearworks, was never undertaken. The West cared only for its own interests when threatened by Nazis, nothing for these people.

If the West had come to the rescue of the Jews, the turmoil in the Middle East would not now be happening. Israel would not be as paranoid as it has become, in reaction to the former helplessness during extermination, cruel and despotic over the peoples it has displaced in its own version of slow motion ethnic cleansing.

Supplying more weapons and waging more war is heaping up yet more causes for future cycles of revenge, violence, hatred and mistrust.

Yet the deluded in power also believe violence is somehow redemptive – or is it just AIPAC pulling their financial strings, here and in Israel? How? When? They wish for what never has been and never will be.

Philip, in a few decades from now, historians are going to be studying the rapid decline of the US in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. One thing that is going to be truly astonishing I think is how self-inflicted so many of the problems are.

It seems that the US has lost any capacity for self-correction. It has repeated the same set of mistakes over and over again. At the same time, the US is slowly sliding towards authoritarianism. There always was an authoritarian anti-intellectual streak in the US, but it has become worse and worse as of late.

There also seems to be a flight from reality. Perhaps 2 examples might be the CIA during the Reagan era, which wanted to over-inflate the economic prowess and military threat of the USSR to give justification for increased military spending and the decision in the early 1990s to get rid of the OTA. At the same time, whistleblowers and those who “got it right” were ignored or persecuted even.

Perhaps as the US declines more and more, Washington will fly further and further away from reality.
