Here’s the late Judy Garland with “Give my regards to Broadway …”

Video Link

Ah yes, Broadway; the Great White Way, the Street of Dreams. Does any thoroughfare in the United States have such a romantic, evocative name?

And on West 50th Street, halfway between Broadway and 8th Avenue, stands the Square Hotel. It is officially named the Square Hotel at Times Square, but that’s a stretch: Times Square is actually five blocks south; but I’ll just put that down to promotional license.

This is the very heart of New York City. Living there must be real expensive, right?

Right: figure six thousand a month for a one-bedroom apartment.

The Square Hotel is appropriately well-appointed. There’s a Japanese restaurant and bar in the lobby and the rooms are Art Nouveau style with sophisticated furniture, plush beds with down comforters and deluxe linens, flat-screen TVs with cable. and toiletries from C.O. Bigelow downtown, “the oldest apothecary in America.”

Great! Let’s book a room!

However, if you go to the hotel website at squarehotelnyc.com, all you get is a plain notice saying “THE SQUARE HOTEL HAS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Please pardon our appearance as we slip into something new.”

Strange! Can a nice establishment like that, so centrally located, have gone out of business?

No: the Square Hotel is very much in business—just not with American citizens or legal residents. It’s in business with the City of New York. The Mayor of that city, Eric Adams, has filled up its 141 rooms with illegal aliens.

For the hotel and the city, it’s win-win. The hotel is getting easy money from the city and guaranteed full occupancy without having to provide traditional hotel services. And Mayor Adams gets to pretend he has the influx of illegals into his sanctuary city under control.

And upper-middle-class New York theater-goers get to feel good about themselves. Retiree Judie Rudman, 57, who came to see Arthur Miller’s “Enemy of The People” with her husband and three kids, told the New York Post that

I’m more concerned about the migrants than the theater goers. If they have a place to stay it makes the city safer.

[ Chic hotel in heart of Broadway converted to migrant shelter in latest sign of growing NYC migrant crisis , by Carl Campanile and Marie Pohl, May 5, 2024]

There are of course also some losers.

There are potential tourists with one less place to stay in midtown Manhattan.

There are local merchants with correspondingly fewer customers.

There are hotel employees whose services are not required under the minimal new regime.

And there are the occasional victims of a mugging or a knifing by Venezuelan hoodlums resident at the hotel.

And, of course, there are (or will be) American voters.

ORDER IT NOW

Finding suitable high-class accommodation for foreign scofflaws is now big business all over. Associated Press told us last month about the city of Denver, which is rolling out a new, ambitious migrant support program, including six-month apartment stays and intensive job preparation for those who can’t yet legally work [Denver makes major shift in migrant response by extending support to six months but limiting spaces, by Jesse Bedayn, April 10, 2024].

As well as six months’ rent there also comes free food and utility assistance, a free computer, a prepaid cell phone and metro bus passes, training courses on English language, computers, financial literacy, and workers’ rights, and help with the paperwork for the scofflaws’ bogus asylum applications.

Meanwhile, up there in the State of Maine, the town of Westbrook wants to use private homes and churches as shelters for illegal aliens [Westbrook Wants to Turn Private Homes and Churches Into Homeless Shelters—90 percent of welfare recipients in Westbrook are “New Mainers,” according to a city official, by Seamus Othot, MaineWire, May 20, 2024].

Wait a minute: Is Westbrook, population 20,400, a sanctuary, er, town?

Is Maine a sanctuary state?

If neither, why don’t the town fathers just call in ICE to arrest and deport the scofflaws?

Does any government in our country—The Biden Regime or state, municipal, or local levels— give a flying fandangle about American citizens?

Or about fair but rigorous enforcement of the nation’s laws, duly passed by our elected representatives?

To ask the questions is to answer them.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: This is what happens when a nation loses control of their money supply. First, the government is empowered by the confiscation of our money through taxes. Then the government appoints the central banks to run the printing presses. And once the currency was no longer backed by gold, it has become almost as worthless as Monopoly money. The government can then buy anything it wants with this fake money. And it has decided to destroy the native population through forced support of immigrants.

The “petro-dollar,” forced purchasing of US dollars to buy oil from Saudi Arabia, will turn out to be our undoing. The power created by this diabolical arrangement will be unstoppable until the USD is worthless.

Trump was sued and prevented at every turn from halting illegal entry. Biden opens the door wide and not a single judge says a thing. If a president refused to enforce “civil rights” laws, would a judge allow it? But somehow they can ignore immigration law? Obviously the owners of America have made their decision, the US is going to be a Latin American country.

Whatever number they tell you, triple or quadruple it. I just heard that the US has taken in 1/3 of the Mexican population. Imagine if that number is correct? It’s done. The ruling class decided they wanted to rule over a 3rd world craphole instead of an advanced, modern nation. They will get it, but it might not turn out like they think.

Biden is cancelling student debt yet again. The Supreme Court has ruled that doing so violates the constitution, because it allocates money from the treasury and only Congress has the authority to do that, but Biden proceeds to do it again. He even brags about it. “The Supreme Court told me I couldn’t do that, but I did it anyway.”

Biden brags about violating the Supreme Court order and usurping Congressional “power of the purse,” and neither of the other two coequal branches of government say one word about him becoming a dictator. Democracy? What democracy?

I think I’ll spend this long Memorial Day weekend reading EMJ’s The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit.

It is already a done deal. At the current rate of migration, and the rate that brown and black invaders breed, the White historical population will be a minority in a decade. It is baked in.

True, and good point. Buy I’m afraid it’s worse than that. California is already two generations into this, and I know what the delayed impact looks like. Fifty years into the future, it will not be merely the guy in Walmart. It will be, thanks to affirmative action, the doc, the veterinarian, and all manner of people in positions to do real harm to traditional Americans. It gets even worse. Many traditional Americans having these important jobs will throw in the towel and figure, Why the heck should I bust my tail being conscientious and proficient. And, educational and workplace standards will be lowered for everybody.

Btw, the essay tells us even Maine is becoming Press 2 for Spanish. Bad news. I have been assuming that if future traditional Americans are willing to tolerate thermal underwear or bug spray, there will be safe places. I guess not. Maybe just small enclaves.

“And, educational and workplace standards will be lowered for everybody.”

Lately I’ve been in many offices, especially government offices. OMG, what has happened? Is the requirement for a government job that your IQ be at the level of someone in Grade 4? Mistakes, forgetting signatures, misunderstanding what you want, telling you to wait in the wrong line-up, etc. Then you get the phone call saying, “So sorry, but something went wrong and you’ll have to come in again,” as if that’s no big deal! And these people are actually being paid a salary?

  11. @AlmaMater

From the centre to the outskirts, the “petro dollar” reverberates.

Don’t like indoor plumbing, reliable electricity, or pretty much anything related to a modern first world country very much, do you?

    The Chinese invented indoor plumbing.
Black Folk invented street lamps and electrical outlets.

As far as I can tell “first world” is synonymous with fag marriage, which is stinky and part of the anal worship cult that whites invented.

So no — whites are savages. They’ve got to be genocided, preferably quietly with poison chemicals in their food and water and medicine.

    Bye bye Whitey!

Yes, and in Texas, more and more each year in our classrooms we are flooded with limited or no English proficiency students. As teachers, we are supposed to to conduct classes at a high level while having a wide variety of proficiency with the language in the classroom as well as very broad spectrums of ability levels and IQ.

  19. General notice:

Stop feeding the trolls, especially the ever-present, unimaginative, one-dimensional, boring, disingenuous, and predictable ones. Exactly the same as the stray cat/raccoon principle.

Black Folk invented street lamps and electrical outlets.

    Lol, you really believe that?

Denizens of Beijing could be the first to use “fixed position lighting” (unlike hand-carried torches and lamps), as far back as 500 B.C., utilizing hollow bamboo as a piping and naturally occurring gas vents to create a kind of street lamp.
The first electric street lighting employed arc lamps, initially the ‘Electric candle’, ‘Jablotchkoff candle’, or ‘Yablochkov candle’ developed by a Russian, Pavel Yablochkov, in 1875. This was a carbon arc lamp employing alternating current.
The first street to be lit by an incandescent lightbulb was Mosley Street, in Newcastle. The street was lit for one night by Joseph Swan’s incandescent lamp on 3 February 1879. (Joseph Swan was a white English man if you are wondering)
The power outlet was invented by Harvey Hubbell, from Massachusetts. Not a black man judging by his photo.

What’s a Gazan street sign doing on Broadway, minion?

  22. @Supply and Demand

Germans drowned them in bogs, Jew.
