For sure non-trivial numbers of Chinese are interested in obtaining a college degree from the United States, with I believe over 320,000 Chinese students studying in the US at both the undergraduate and graduate level. I live in South Africa. Are whites clamouring to leave….yes and no. I would say its more of an orderly retreat. The government of south africa is racist, corrupt and generally incompetent. SA follows the general style of african countries as having high corruption, crime and killings. However there is still sufficient freedom that when you are ethnically cleansed from a job in a big company that you can get or create a job in a small company.
Many older whites are so called prisoners of africa… you have created a niche for youself, you have a nice house and many friends and family . But the younger generation see only perpetual oppression, race quotas, corruption in government and no future for themselves or their children. the indian population are also now having race quotas imposed on them and also feeling similar discomfort to whites.
Also what is difficult to describe is the constant cultural barrage in the media that is African. Sounds, accents, music, attitudes lead to a feelings of cultural alienation. Missionaries who I’ve talked talk not of culture shock but of cultural grind…like you are constantly being ground in a mill of noise and strangeness. Some whites love the constant difference, but the majority sit and moan.
Consequently there is a slow evaporation of family and friends out of the country, firstly with the young professionals who have little to lose, then when all the children have gone, the parents follow.
Indians and black professionals are also emigrating as they also are losing faith in black governments.
