There are few authentic leftists. Universalism, egalitarianism, and open borders are leftist principles that weaken any group that adopts them. When a figure is a “progressive” for America but a nationalist for his own people, he’s not a progressive at all. He’s simply a nationalist for his own side.

Ilham Omar is a prominent example. On January 27, she spoke — in Somali — to a group of Somalis in the United States. Her speech would thrill any Somali nationalist. Though there is some dispute over the translation, the main items are not in doubt. One translation quotes her:

Her comments are actually revanchist. “Somalia is one. We are brothers and sisters, and our land will not be balkanized. Our lands were taken from us before, and God willing, we may one day seek them, but what we have now will not be balkanized.” America is a place where “one of your daughters sits in Congress” so she can make sure “no one will take Somalia’s sea.” A more watered-down translation is here:

Even in this translation, she refers to herself as a Somali and to the president of Somalia as “the president.”

Florida governor and former presidential candidate Ron DeSantis called for Rep. Omar to be expelled from Congress, denaturalized, and deported.

When Rep. Omar took office, people celebrated that an immigrant had been elected to Congress. Like all naturalized citizens, she took an oath: “I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen.” She should be deported for lying.

Candace Owens supported her:

Even if we accept the most innocent translation of Rep. Omar’s remarks, she sees herself as Somali, sees her job as protecting Somalia, and wants the United States to take her country’s side in any territorial dispute with Ethiopia. American interests don’t matter.

If the GOP is upset, it could expel Rep. Omar, as it did Republican George Santos, but don’t count on the GOP. Its candidate to replace Rep. Santos is Mazi Pilip, a veteran not of the United States military but of the Israeli Defense Forces. She is an Ethiopian Jew, born in Ethiopia, and might well support Addis Ababa in a dispute — no matter what American interests might be.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) sounded very much like Rep. Omar in his determination to defend his ethnic homeland’s interests. In a speech to AIPAC, he said that his surname Schumer, which means “guardian,” was given to him “for a reason.” He said he would “unflinchingly, unstintingly, and with all of my strength, be Shomer Yisrael, a guardian of Israel.”

Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL), who served in the Israeli Defense Forces (along with the United States Army), wore his IDF uniform to Congress after the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. After he did this, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) put a Palestinian flag outside her office. The House censured her later for allegedly “calling for the destruction of the state of Israel.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said Hispanics should get a racial exemption from immigration laws “because we are standing on native land and Latino people are descendants of native people.” If “from the river to the sea” is code for the destruction of Israel, saying America is “native land” is an implied call for the elimination of America. There was no call to censure her. Of course, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s argument was not a progressive claim but a statement of racial interests. Unlike Rep. Omar and Sen. Schumer, she was not declaring allegiance to a foreign country.

In 2003, immigration activist Manuel de la Cruz, a former illegal immigrant and naturalized American citizen living in California, was elected to the Mexican federal congress. He said he would “give immigrants [to the United States] a voice in this country [Mexico].” Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) called for a boycott of his own stat in 2010 to protest a state law to contain illegal immigration. Luis Gutierrez represented Chicago in Congress for 16 years until 2019, where he worked tirelessly for illegal immigrants and against border security. Polls of Hispanics ranked him the most influential Hispanic after Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. His motto: “I have only one loyalty, and that’s to the immigrant community.”

Just this year, Mexican President Lopez Obrador scoffed at Texas governor Abbot for proposing a law that would let Texas judges deport illegal immigrants. He said Mr. Abbot “is going to lose support because there are a lot of Mexicans in Texas, a lot of migrants.” He added: “We don’t have to do much, just tell our compatriots not to vote for the governor of Texas or for lawmakers of the Republican Party.” The Mexican government deliberately promotes dual citizenship so Mexicans can vote for Mexican interests in American elections. Mexican government officials occasionally take part in demonstrations against immigration laws.

Americans are entitled to representatives who look out for our country. There should be no display of foreign flags in congressional offices. No one with dual citizenship should serve in Congress. No naturalized citizen should have dual citizenship.

In 2019, a member of Congress warned against “the political influence in this country that says it is OK to push for allegiance to a foreign country.” The member was criticizing dual US-Israeli citizens in Congress. What would she say about that today? That member was Ilhan Omar. Whatever she may think about the United States, she is a right-wing nationalist for Somalia.

DeSantis may have done some good pushing back against the covid plandemic policies, but when it comes to his slavish kowtowing to jews and israel, DeSantis rates a big fat zero.

DeSantis signed two laws affecting only non-jewish Floridians while in israel.

One law codifies and prosecutes “hate speech” specifically mentioning anti-semitism as a special category which will be vigorously prosecuted.

Another law requires the attendance of ALL Florida schoolchildren at jewish freak shows known as “holocaust museums”. This is a state-sponsored direct promotion of “holocaustianity” which IS a “religion” and as such is prohibited by the Constitution of the united States. Gotta get ’em while they’re young–brainwashing.

Florida has already codified anti-BDS legislation into law and requires all businesses and individuals doing business with the state of Florida to abide by anti-BDS mandates as a condition of doing business with the state.

Let’s not forget all of the Republican presidential candidates who raised their hands declaring their support of israel. They should all lose their USA citizenship and should be deported.

  5. Ilhan Omar probably made these statements with the approval of the Biden Administration. Somaliland is across from Yemen, on the African side of the Red Sea.

The government of Somalia has stated, consistent with Omar’s comments, that it will go to war to keep Somaliland under its control. Thirty years ago, Somaliland declared its independence, but is unrecognized by other countries. It recently signed an undisclosed deal with Ethiopia, prompting Omar’s comments, which grants 12 miles of Somaliland coastline to Ethiopia for the purpose of a naval base.

Around the same time that Somaliland declared its independence, Eritrea became an independent country and Ethiopia lost direct access to the sea. If Ethiopia were to gain a naval port, it would assume its rightful place as a regional power, considering that it is a large nation with a distinct culture and ancient history.

The US already has a military presence in Somalia. In the event of war, would Somaliland be supported by Russia, China, or Iran? Is this another proxy war in the making? Self-righteous conservatives can claim that Congresswoman Omar is some kind of radical that should be censured, but she is an establishment figure who is stating the position of the Biden regime

  6. She sure is part of a larger problem.

I’m confident the Somali lobby in America pales in comparison to the Israeli and Ukrainian lobbies, to just name two. Going after a minnow like Omar is silly when there are whales to deal with. But then again, the Israelis and Ukrainians aren’t black or Moslem, nor does the Somali lobby nor Omar have the bucks to slip into political pockets as these other lobbies have.

The basic point of foreign loyalty is valid, but going after Omar is cowardly when there are bigger threats to America from people with foreign loyalties in our government and political system.

  11. Kali El says:

Yeah, well, everyone in Congress follows the unwritten rule: Follow The Money. No one there takes what they say to their money sources, which goes to the leaders also BTW, seriously. They spend most of their time trying to pry money from mostly the rich businesspeople in their districts. If they are really lucky they can use their ethnicity to try to find money from all over the country by fellow ethnics. That is what is expected of them, so even if they will complain about others, everyone knows what the score is—if you bring in money you are golden.

  12. I rather admire Ilhan Omar on this matter.

At least she’s being loyal to her own kind.

In contrast, white politicians betray the white population while sucking up to Jews who do the most harm to whites.

It’s really rich for white politicians to nag on Omar for lack of patriotism when they’re far more loyal to foreign Israel and the hostile minority of Jews than to white majority and Historical America.

If whites think Jews are so great, then all groups should emulate Jews. What is Jewish Politics about? It’s about Judeo-centrism, or Jewish Power First and Israel First.

Omar’s interpretation of the Jewish Way makes more sense than the White interpretation.

Omar’s logic is as follows: If Jews are right to put their tribalism first, then my people should put our tribalism first. As we are Somali, we are Somali Firsters.

White logic is as follows: If Jews are right to put their tribalism first, then we whites should also put Jewish identity, interests, and power first and above all else.

In other words, Omar wants to be proud and masterful like the Jews, whereas whites want to be servile and cucking to the Jews.

Now, if there was indeed a kind of ‘civic nationalism’ in the US where the main template was America First and your national origin second, I would join in admonishing Omar.

But there is no longer any such in the US. Whites themselves made it impossible by turning the US into Zion Central where Jews are given first dibs on everything.
The Jewish-run US is about Jewish First, Israel First, and Jewish Supremacism.
White politicians who do NOTHING about the broken borders are pledging support for WWIII on behalf of Zion. They sure love those ‘benjamins’ from Jews.

It seems whites are really pissed with Omar because her pride and courage expose and shame their craven cuckery to the Jews. In post-white America, she understands that politics must be about ‘My Identity and My People.’ (And indeed, Jews encourage such feelings among nonwhite groups AS LONG AS it’s anti-white and not anti-Jewish. Jews don’t want nonwhites to assimilate into generic America where all groups are equal. Jews don’t want to be equal.)

Identity Power. Jews do it. And Palestinian-Americans have gained respect because they too defend and struggle for their identity and power.

In contrast, whites get nothing but rejecting white identity. Even Butt-Tucker Carlson said ‘white identity’ is evil.

Now, if indeed whites were sincerely into ‘civic nationalism’, I could sympathize. But they are not. So-called ‘colorblind civic nationalists’ are mostly Jewish Firsters, Christian Zionists, or Muh-Holocaust-Worshipers. They put Jews above goyim.
Even HBD’s ‘civic nationalism’ is bogus as it favors Jewish-Americans over Arab-Americans. When has HBD ever railed against the anti-BDS laws that violate the First Amendment?

Omar is like Sonny in THE GODFATHER PART 2. ‘Remember your country isn’t your blood.’

America was made by Blood and Toil(if not soil), and whites must return that way of thinking.

We are all Sicilians(or Somalis) now. Whites have disgraced themselves by yammering about ‘civic nationalism’ while sucking up to Jewish Supremacism in actual deed.

You can admire Ilhan Omar all you want, but she is not being loyal to her own kind. Representative Omar is an agent of empire trying to drag Somalia into a war. She is pursuing power and is willing to sacrifice her own people by taking the position of the DC uni-party. The Biden regime is fighting a losing battle against Yemen. This is the fundamental issue. Only white people can be genuine altruistic leftists. Socialism, after all, is a white man’s idea. Indeed all the high faluting theories about how society ought to be governed – the rights of man, blah blah blah – have originated in the West. Elsewhere it is just Kings and Clans. Non-whites will go along with leftist progressive causes since they believe it weakens white influence and power and increases their own. But in reality they are all just simple minded ethnic nationalists.

Furthermore, a commenter on here a while back made the very interesting point that having a diverse society makes meddling in the affairs of other countries more likely, not less. We see this most obviously with the all powerful Jewish lobby forcing the USA and the UK to interfere and take sides in the Israel Palestine conflict. But there is also lobbying going on in the UK from Indians for us to take sides in the dispute between India and Pakistan.

Considering that Somalia is a shithole country, why exactly shouldn’t Somaliland claim and demand independence, with Ethiopia’s support?

Why? The usual suspects. It has nothing to do with Somalia, but with keeping Ethiopia down. Ethiopia has a stronger claim than the Jews for being connected to Biblical Israel.

It is a unique place, with its ancient history, ties to the Queen of Sheba, and is the supposed location of the Ark of the Covenant. There’s no explanation for why it didn’t fall during the Muslim conquest. It is home to churches hewn out of stone, like Lalibela, that also defy explanation.

The Italians likely colonized this region at the direction of the Pope because of Ethiopia’s Biblical connections. Mussolini only invaded Orthodox Christian countries. Up until 1974, Ethiopia was ruled by the last Christian emperor on earth, Haile Selassie. Reggae music songs were about him, and it is known that Bob Marley was killed by the CIA. He was given a pair of boots as a gift, but one of the boots contained a poisoned needle.

Congresswoman Omar is probably an intelligence asset, whether she knows it or not. All that she needs to do is be true to form, such as in this speech where she said that America will fight for Somalia’s territorial integrity. Ethiopia should be the regional superpower, and access to a Red Sea port would bring this one step closer to reality

    • Thanks: Katrinka

Yes, Clinton first violated Baker’s agreement, although the discussion of admitting Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic into NATO began under Bush Sr. When these three countries became members in 1999, however, Yeltsin was president of Russia, and his initial reaction was to accept the NATO membership of these former Warsaw Pact countries.

American’s role as the world’s sole superpower lasted from the fall of the USSR in December 1991 until the Bush Jr speech about NATO expansion in June 2001. The difference is that in 2001, Putin was president. He saw the growth of NATO in Eastern Europe as anything but harmless, a sentiment that he repeated for two decades, right up through the 2022 Special Military Operation in the Ukraine

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_fascism#Irredentism_and_expansionism

Her calls for unifying Somaliland and Somalis, and perhaps Djibouti, and maybe even Eritrea sound a bit like calls to unify Italy and Dalmatia (Croatia) from a certain European political movement in the 1920s and 30s. Irredentism is usually associated with a certain European political movement in the 1920s and 30s.

Also worth noting is that Omar’s presence in the US of A was not random event or even a choice made by her or her parents, it was an act of state by the US foreign policy establishment. I personally think that since a certain area of Minneapolis is now given over to Somali ethnics, the local government requires Somali ethnics.

Worse, in her case her people were NEVER here at any point. If you want to argue that, consider where she represents and that her people were never there until after the USA was born. (“Oh but they’re here right now!” So are we, fool.)

-If you want to use that in the present-generational sense, that’s still more our people than hers, and this still is a national declaration of intended conquest of lands that in no sense ever belonged to them.

It’s very simple. She’s using it in the ancient sense of so many cultures’ word for “People”: “We’re people and you’re not.” There’s no other sensible extrapolation of her words, “we were born (this people) and you were not.”

Turnabout is always fair play, OC. We the people. I didn’t choose this context, you did, so congratulations you useless, invasive, and parasitic animal.

While I tend to agree, none of us liked the “Cuban Missile Crisis”, and from Russia’s perspective this would be so much worse than that.

This is essentially what it means to be a modern power. You get to dictate what toys and friends the countries in between you and the next power over are allowed to have.

Considering that nothing in Europe is a power anymore, and the USA is rapidly losing control of the oceans, Russia is going to have its way with the anti-Russia-alliance still named NATO that has provocatively stepped onto its doorstep in violation of oath, and nobody is going to be armed with nukes unless we’re definitely going to have a nuclear war.

    @George

Open borders are feminine principles. They’re naturally receptive in more ways than one, they want to be open to receive. To the extent that the left is feminized, yes they’re leftist principles. To the extent that the left is controlled by foreign elites that want to replace the natives with their mercenaries, it’s shortsighted male principles.

  50. With representatives like these aforementioned, America needs no other enemies. America is doomed to disintegrate centrifugally and this is a certainty. A nation that cannot control its borders, and has foreign agents in its government will fail. Even worse, if 60 percent of Americans have enough of this ludicrous treachery, America will have a second civil war.
