People are talking about this now but it’s nothing new, the second wave is running through the Orthodox community like the first wave was. The reckless behavior was Cuomo/de Blasio instituting an extremely excessive and constitutionally illegal lockdown that was economically and socially disastrous. Rather than simply distinguishing between diagnosed and undiagnosed infections, they decided to include asymptotic infections in the definition of IFR. In other words, those who test positive but display no symptoms should not be counted as “cases.”

Consequently, with governments pulling out all the stops to increase testing, they are intentionally inflating the number of “cases.”
