Deja Taylor, mother of the six year old who shot his teacher in the chest in Newport News, Virginia last year said that he is a “great kid.” And he actually liked the teacher. He just felt that he was being “ignored” that week. What?! Poll: how many of you opened fire on a teacher for ignoring you during your school days? Taylor was indicted last month for felony child neglect and also charged with a misdemeanor for mishandling a firearm.

I don’t live in the US, but most of the teachers I meet are ultra-woke and talk about little kids who are “clearly trans”. I am only sorry White and Asian kids aren’t treating them with the contempt they deserve out in the suburbs.

Yes, if “basic” is what suffices for you. Otherwise, I think you very much have your work cut out for you. I have a single anecdote to offer. (Please don’t stop reading, even though I deserve it.) Distant relatives home-schooled their child. Diligently, they thought. Grandpa, retired, advanced STEM. degree, contributed much time. Everyone proud of the apparent result. Well, the kid goes to the Merchant Marine Academy and proceeds to flunk-out. The curriculum there is loaded with difficult math, science, and engineering courses. Also, teamwork and communication skills are a big deal. I realize the pitfalls of relying upon a single anecdote as a cautionary tale, but I thought it was worth telling.

A lot higher than any study or statistic will ever admit. There are a lot of development issues dues to mama not knowing she’s pregnant for the first few months, and continuing to party, drink booze, smoke weed, and do coke. It doesn’t get much better after the kids are born, where they are riding around in cars, or stuck in apartments, while people smoke blunts, drink and party all around them. As much as people claim weed isn’t bad for you, it’s not good for a 3 year old developing brain. That goes for kids of any race, but the black community seems to care a lot less for their offspring, until they get shot by the police or while trying to rob a CCW holder, and there’s a ghetto lottery payout at stake.

Lots of teachers are still male. But that does not matter at all.

Schoolteachers may deserve a punch or two. They roles are what? To indoctrinate the youth into being a good followers of the civic religion of the day.

my single reply, is that of my own son, i personally tutored, using sort of an unschooling technique (that i was completely unaware of, as homeschooling was still just for drug dealers and rabid christian conservatives, at the time).

i only asked an hour of directed study from him per day and left him on his own for further studies. after seeing what was required, for math (or maths, as the rest of the world refers to it, lol), for grade one through six, i was astounded to realize, that they were only teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, over and over for six years. this absolutely (and perhaps purposefully), wastes the most important time in a young childs education (when they are able to absorb information like a sponge). this blunts the individuals intellect, for the rest of their life. when i realized this fact i was horrified, that we were sacrificing the intellect of our children, upon the same alter, they tried (and throughly failed), to sacrifice my own. i was able to teach him grade one thru six math, in a single year. the next year, i introduced him to algebra and he told me “dad, i can’t do this, it’s got letters instead of numbers”, i told him, just think of the letters as numbers and a light came on over his head. he was off and running. it took two years to get through algebra (as it got a little boring and we took a break). in fourth grade he finished geometry, trigonometry in fifth grade and he left me in the dust after that, for i have a distinct memory of sitting in an analytic calculus with non elucidian geometry class and wondering why the fuck, i was study something that had no practical application in my life.

i never tested my son, but guided him, using video games (spyro the dragon) and a complete collection of calvin and hobbes, to entice him, to learn to read. the poor son of a bitch, never even realized he was being schooled, as he was just having fun (as was i). these were the best years of my life, at the time i realized, i was taking my retirement early. my wife slowly drove my business into the ground (as we had swapped roles) but that was my “fault” (as it was my business, not really hers), in the end, my son who had never been tested in the course of his education, asked me, “dad, what if i’m not as smart as the kids that went to school?”. i laughed and told him that he had no idea how dumb those kids were.

the first standardize test he took, was his community college entrance exam, and person administrating the test was astounded at his near perfect score. he was given a full ride, bright futures scholarship, books and all, to any state school. all of this was thrown in the garbage, because his pig of a girlfriend (who’s now his exwife), wanted to go to an expensive private school (as it had minarets!), that had no disernable math department and did not accept his full scholarship (which was thrown in the garbage, along with the books and his math genius).

The bad behavior, druggy-culture, hip-hop culture being spread to the suburbs is INTENTIONAL by the elites. They don’t want the top 10% of working class kids born with high IQs competing with their own children. This is intentional demoralization. It’s not a mistake by them. They want it this way.

If they can make a smart kid have to adopt ghetto-English, and “language is the dress of thought”, he won’t even think in very complex terms. It dumbs him down. That’s why rap was promoted by the record company shareholders (or by the hedge funds that control the majority shares in record companies) to begin with: to popularized thuggish, brutish social styles amongst the lower and lower-middle classes. Makes them more susceptible to peer pressure and professional cultural persuaders like the news and entertainment media, plus professors.

Husband of a public school teacher here. 49% may cite violence and threats — and rightfully so, my wife had a psychotic 1st grade girl who made her life hell on a daily basis last year.

But the (probable) minority of those who actually want to teach — rather than pick up a paycheck for proctoring and propaganda — are more frustrated that their hands are tied by mandated non-stop testing, poorly designed state and federal syllabi and curricula, ridiculous student-to-teacher ratios, counterproductive classroom ‘inclusion’ policies, and a near-total lack of involvement from most of the parents of ‘disadvantaged’ children (parent involvement being the single biggest predictor of success in school).

There are good and obvious solutions to all of these problems that fuel the dumpster fire that is public education, and these solutions do not require more funding and continual investments in last year’s technology…

i used to live in the same neighborhood as the hulkster and would see him on his chopped harley, wearing a chrome nazi helmet, ah the good old days. yeah, i did have a bit of a blind spot, as to all the wonderful social interaction, in public school. like a fool, i had hoped that he would find a nice, shy girl he could fall in love with. when he went to community college, he took classical guitar and i told him to play his guitar between classes in the commons and it would attract beautiful women. he came back and told me it worked like a charm. he had the world at his feet, but this fat harpy had her claws in him, from a ballroom dance class, his mother had taken him to years before.
