Last quarter Ilhan Omar’s Democratic Primary opponent, Antone Melton-Meaux, raised $3.2 million dollars to the incumbent’s $471,000.
Despite not knowing yet who he will be running against, Republican challenger Lacy Johnson has already burned through most of the $3.1 million dollars he raised to run attacks on Omar. Johnson is not competitive. The GOP has lost the district by 40-50 point landslides since 2002.
The big money being rained on Minnesota’s 5th has nothing to do with mere red tie vs blue tie partisanship. In Minnesota’s 3rd, a swing district, Democratic incumbent Dean Phillips has only been able to obtain $1.4 million to defend his House seat from a realistic challenger. In spite of this, Republican Kendall Qualls has only been able to raise a paltry $685,000 for his campaign from largely disinterested GOP donors.
The mystery factor in Omar’s election is the undaunting aggression of Jewish plutocratic money. The spending in this superficially low stakes House election has triggered a financial arm’s race, with white liberals like Ben Affleck and Susan Sarandon in Omar’s corner and Jews who see liberalism as a means for oppressing whites and guaranteeing support for Israel trying to force an outcome favorable to Melton-Meaux.
Melton-Meaux’s entire campaign has centered around a pitch to Jews to give him money. The black Democrat refers to himself as a “progressive Zionist” (as in, he is anti-white but fervently pro-Israel), is specialized in Jewish studies, and even pretends to be able to translate Hebrew. Melton-Meaux has decided to focus his campaign on calling Omar an anti-Semite for “conflating” Jewry with support for Israel.
This has been a recipe for a slot machine jackpot. Melton-Meux raised $1.5 million dollars in the month of May alone, confounding political observers due to his lack of popularity and name recognition. Almost all of Melton-Meux’s money has been provided by Jewish money-bundler groups, like AIPAC fronts Pro-Israel America and NORPAC, as well as a laundry list of miscellaneous pro-Israel/Jewish groups like Citizens Organized, Friends of Israel, Heartland PAC, etc.
Most of Omar’s donations are non-itemized (small donors), while virtually none of Melton-Meux’s war chest comes from a grassroots source.
Omar’s few Jewish allies are also betraying her weeks before the August 11th primary. Rabbi Avi Olitzky, who Omar embraced as a confidant in a gesture of good will, defended her against accusations of anti-Semitism last year. Olitzky has suddenly flip-flopped and decided that Omar is indeed an anti-Semite. He endorsed Melton-Meaux last week.
A Corbyn-style fake anti-Semitism strategy has also been conjured up by these forces. Vice News, which has multiple “antifa” members on its staff and is perceived as strongly left-liberal, recently condemned an Omar mailer criticizing her opponent for being in the pocket of Wall Street. According to Vice’s Cameron Joseph, this is tantamount to anti-Semitism because all the high finance billionaires backing Melton-Meaux just so happen to be Jewish.
Both left-wing Jews and hawkish Zionist Jews work together on their campaigns to undermine white nationalists, honest leftists and Muslims who support the Palestinian cause.
While this situation looks remarkably similar to the Anti-Defamation League’s campaign to unseat Steve King, Jewish groups see punishing non-white figures like Ilhan Omar as an issue that requires more delicacy and intrigue in order to avoid upsetting the ethnic coalitions they lead in Washington.
The Nordic liberals and Somali migrants of Minnesota’s 5th plan to deliver a comfortable victory to Omar in her primary. With that said, Omar’s colleagues are getting the message loud and clear. Recently, attempts to insert left-wing criticisms of Israel were soundly defeated and kept out of the Democratic Party’s 2020 platform, preserving only a very tepid condemnation of the coming West Bank annexation. Expect whatever loose talk of BDS was happening in Washington to begin winding down as more Democrats start looking over their shoulder.
Overall, the Jewish community looks like it’s finally getting a grip on populist challenges to the status quo from the left and right…for now.

Ilhan Omar’s role for the Democrats has run it’s course. AOC will likely meet the same fate. They were mainly promoted on cable news to menace middle-aged white men who vote Republican. Nothing is more galling than seeing a young woman with no experience in life promoted to positions of power merely because she represents a demographic. The Democrats promoting them was a way of humiliating hard working men who have no representation whatsoever in politics anymore beyond Tucker Carlson’s nightly (pointless) ranting. It’s the “Smash the Patriarchy” strategy of celebrating literally nothing other than race and sexual body parts over any kind of civic virtue: you should be in charge of important things simply because no one like you has ever been in charge of important things. The only thing worse the Democrats could do to humiliate the polity as a whole would be to extend voting rights to children and promote an 11 year old to some high office for no other reason than to “amplify the voices of children” a lot like how Greta Thunberg was shoved down everyone’s throat. I wish I had a nickel for all of the people who stole my childhood that I never got to call out for it. I never got to tell the United Nations how much I thought the 80s sucked when I was a kid.
As a Gen X white guy, I often wonder why our generation was largely relegated to wage slavery and marginalized as a way of America making amends for past crimes against Feminists and Minorities. Why, in our generation, it suddenly became essential that America raise up literally any other voice than ours. All we got was a couple of good grunge records and the movies Fight Club and The Matrix in compensation for stepping aside to make way for the hitherto marginalized. I am embarrassed to admit I actually read I, Rigoberta when I was younger feeling like I owed it to Central America to learn about their struggle. Ditto for The Bluest Eye. Both books are actually awful.
Partly I think that the fact that we were raised in the shadow of WWII and Vietnam vets made our climb to manhood a lot harder than it needed to be. Older men seem to see us as useless because we had not stormed any beaches or fought our way through any jungles, so of course we couldn’t be put in charge of running anything important. Being of humble mind and deferential to authority, most of us accepted that station in life: we could not be promoted because men more worthy than us deserved to lead. I felt awe when I thought about the incredible adversity my grandparents and uncles who had lived through the wars and Great Depression had experienced. So of course they should lead and be rewarded.
Welp, all of that changed tremendously once the Clinton’s took over politics and pulled the rug out from underneath everyone by forcing these ideas that “girls and black people have been excluded all this time”, which was a switcheroo where basically all of those old virtues of being deferential to authority were tossed out the window within the time frame of a single term of the Presidency in the late 90s. Suddenly, every job that would have allowed you to establish yourself in a stable life situation was shipped overseas and politics started to lurch toward inclusion, i.e. giving girls and minorities a chance to be promoted. This happened in every aspect of life and yet we are still forced to endure claims that they are excluded, get paid less, etc.
After Obama, and merely to emphasize that nothing matters beyond making everything in America look like a demographically correct United Colors of Benetton ad, we get girls in their 20s elected to congress lecturing us about how evil America is and how we should drive electric cars. The whole point is that having to sit through these developments as a completely marginalized part of the electorate in spite of every effort to contribute in positive ways is demoralizing.
That this tyranny of idiots was imposed on us by older people like Nancy Pelosi in order to right the wrongs of men in her generation is a travesty of justice. That girls like Ilhan and AOC take advantage of this type of politics to advance themselves is proof that they have no sense of justice. It’s like Dunning-Kruger had a baby with that lady from Fatal Attraction and that baby grew up to be the House of Representatives.
We need some grown men with balls to step up and take control of the wheel of the clown bus because everything has just turned out to be ridiculous, demoralizing, and stupid. Every story about Ilhan Omar is just a reinforcement of how ridiculous, demoralizing, and stupid everything really is.
At the same time I have to say: Ilhan Omar is right about Israel.
The degree to which Jewish money-power is willing to expose itself in this decade (and apparently going forward) is unprecedented and speaks to their overconfidence with censorship efforts and regrettable past success in stifling those who would expose and push back against this swamp-tier corruption and foreign influence in our political system.

The kids rioting in Portland because they have no future rioted back then too. At the time, people were scandalized by the idea that the government would undermine Union labor to send all the factories overseas. AOC is right that the service based economy results in millions of people who will never save enough to retire or buy a house. That’s more Bernie’s hobby horse though. People have been talking about that problem for years and years… and nobody in the government has cared at all so far as I can tell. They bring in more low wage immigrants (even illegally) to make the problem worse.
The reason AOC is as relevant as Ilhan here is that none of the “Squad” members are pro-Israel. The big thing that has changed, in my opinion, is that in the past the Koch brothers were (pretty much the only Billionaires) pushing the open borders idea to bring in more labor from Mexico whereas now the Billionaire class seems to support the idea of socialism (or at least a universal basic income) as well as changing the demographics of the US by bringing in everyone from everywhere, including Muslims. AOC is a slam dunk on both issues but fails on the Israel issue. It is an open question whether she will defect to Zionism as a compromise to achieve her economic and green agenda. Seems unlikely. Her constituents don’t support that compromise because Israelis are torturing/oppressing Palestinians. It’s hard to see how she will thread that needle since younger black and brown people are perfectly well aware of what’s going on with Palestine and they have sympathy for the Palestinians more than the Israelis. As they grow up in leadership positions, it will be interesting to see if the young ladies in congress will sell their souls for power the way everyone else does.

I have been having these same conversations on the internet now since the dial-up days of the 90s in chat rooms. One thing I can say is that we are all just avatars of ideas, almost detached from reality and writing in a purely Platonic realm of concepts outside of space and time.

As for me, I would like to see our response be something like how India reacted to the British empire, which as I understand it, was a kind of aloof ignoring of them to the extent that it was possible. The British were mainly interested in high-level government and high level activities with their perceived governmental liaisons, and not overly concerned with the actual people living in India in most places. The same seems to be true of Jews here. They aren’t trying to go fishing in Arkansas or attend a rodeo in Nebraska. So for the most part they will leave you alone unless you aspire to be in the cosmopolitan class, which most of us aren’t and never were anyway. If you had a big dream of writing for the Atlantic or working at CNN, then you would have to be very responsive to their being our overlords. They want to control US money. I disagree with you about there being no white trash geniuses. I know several who are at any rate smarter than some of my grad school classmates. Typically they shine at math and logic but are verbally unpolished and haven’t read a lot. Also they seem to have taken for granted that their opportunities were limited by their origins. Our elites are predators. They are taught that they have no obligation to other people. Greed is good, and whatever makes money is good. If someone else has less money, that’s because they deserve less money, and because they create less good.
In their daily lives, the rich become rich through passive income and exploiting other people; paying the lowest wage or price possible (Walmart and Amazon both famously fuck suppliers over, though in different ways), getting as much government money as possible, and making sure that they don’t have to work to make money, and that the stock market always goes up in the long run, along with other asset prices–no matter what’s actually happening in the economy.
Neoliberal elites are predators. This is true in every neoliberal country. It is simply most advanced in the United States. They view ordinary people as prey or useful tools. After the 2007/8 financial crisis, banks set up assembly lines to sign false paperwork so they could seize people’s homes. The Federal government knew, aided them, and later immunized them by making them pay fines far less than the value of what they stole.
You are food or a money-producing asset to elites.
You are not human, you do not have a right to anything. Not due process of the law. Not food. Not housing. Not affordable medicine or health care. Those things are for people with enough money, and if that’s not you, you don’t deserve them.
This is THE most important thing you can understand about society today. You can’t count on US elites to care about you at all. If it is in their best financial interest to impoverish you, kill you or any other thing, they will do so.

Obviously, the “kids” rioting in Portland in the 90s aren’t kids anymore. The late-90s boom under Clinton was the last time we had a real economy; everything since has been Fed-manipulated nonsense. So the kids of this year face an unbelievably bleak situation if not part of the top5% or 10%.
AOC isn’t just a left-winger; I recall her talking, as a Congresswoman, about how hard life was for her before she got elected, and in doing so she wasn’t talking for Hispanics or Progressives, but more I think on behalf of her age cohort. AOC went to Boston University, not an Ivy, so she wasn’t part of the elite; thus the tending bar at low wages in an expensive city. It struck me as genuine.
Until that age cohort feels like it is being offered a fair shake, it has no reason to go along with the system. If AOC goes for the money, as you hint, she will lose the chance to represent her generation, and another leader from Among them must arise.
I agree that they have no reason to go along with the system. They will likely never make enough money to buy a house or be involved in anything substantial beyond their political circles on social media. If I was a little younger with nothing particularly going on, I wouldn’t mind hanging out, smoking weed, drawing, and talking all day with friends either. And the fact that you get to go out at night and stick it to the man with no real repercussions… well why not.
Hopefully something big will open up like homesteading in greenland or hitchhiking to Argentina. Something that can capture the imagination of the youngsters and get them off this pointless hamster wheel of huffing glue and trying to burn down federal property every day.

In some inchoate way, they are striking at the organization that empowers the cabal at the Fed that has created this. I’m somewhat more glad that their focus has changed from overturning cultural symbols like statues and turned towards the court system that enforces Federal regulations, those ones under which each citizen, according to the book title, commits three felonies a day. Can they make the leap to organizing and working together to make a meaningful life outside the Federal Reserve Inflated economy?
My guess is it’s all posturing for the effect of the election, and will go away November 4th. Given how damaging BLM was to Hillary’s election in 2016, I do start to wonder if destroying Seattle and Portland, in states that won’t vote R, every night for TV cameras isn’t a Republican operation.
