Editor’s Note: This is the transcript of my speech delivered at the 2018 League of the South National Conference.
I would like think I stand before you today older and wiser than I was three years ago. I want to talk to you today about my experience as a member of the League of the South: where it was when I joined, where it stands today and where it is going.
Public Activism
Since 2013, I have been a strong advocate of public activism. I have argued that public activism is necessary to erode the dominant taboos which have marginalized our community. While I still believe the League should engage in public activism, I now believe that we must be much more prudent in doing so in the current political climate.
When Barack Obama was president, I believe that public activism worked well for the League of the South. It was a net positive that attracted new members to our organization. The average, rightwing Southerner was alienated from Barack Obama’s America. We held public rallies about a series of neglected, hot button populist issues – immigration, refugee resettlement, free trade, Confederate heritage – which resonated with the public.
The mainstream Left was content so long as Barack Obama was president and as a result radical, violent Antifa groups failed to gain traction. In the Obama years, we became accustomed to seeing these people as a joke. We held nearly 20 rallies between 2013 and 2017 which never attracted more than a small, motley crew of mostly non-violent liberal counter-protesters. The Radical Left withered in the Obama years because the mainstream Left was satisfied, asleep and disengaged from participating in public activism.
Throughout the Obama years, the League of the South hosted our own public events. We tightly controlled our own members. We controlled our own message. We were careful to control our public image. There were no violent confrontations with the Radical Left in the Obama years and we were able to engage extensively with the public. In 2013, we held a rally against refugee resettlement in Shelbyville, TN and distributed hundreds of Free Magnolias. In 2017, when we went back to Shelbyville, TN and were treated like caged animals.
I believe this change in public perception and crowd control at our rallies is entirely due to the Trump presidency and the radicalization of the Left that followed in its wake. In the Trump era, the mainstream Left, which was traumatized by the shock of Trump’s surprise victory in the 2016 election, began to openly endorse political violence. Mainstream leftwing publications have defended “punching Nazis” in the name of “the Resistance.” We saw early in 2017 how leftwing bastions on the West Coast like Portland, OR and Berkeley, CA were failing to uphold law and order. They looked the other way while anarchists rioted and engaged in violence against even mainstream conservatives and libertarians.
As a result of the Trump presidency, public rallies, protests and demonstrations organized by the League of the South have been used as a foil by violent Antifa to harness the energy of the traumatized “Resistance” to recruit new members. Many of our public events, which used to attract little attention from these fanatics, have become a public stage for acting out the violent, leftwing backlash against the Trump presidency. Meanwhile, the conservatives who have reaped all the benefits of the Trump presidency have been content to ignore all their violence, the erosion of free speech and the censorship of social media.
In the current political climate, I believe it is necessary to reevaluate the prudence and wisdom of public activism and change our tactics. For starters, I don’t believe it is necessary or wise to announce public events in advance. This only gives our opposition advance notice and time to mobilize their radicalized supporters to engage in violence and create a climate of fear in the communities in which we are attempting to organize. It is not in our interest to absorb the costs of the anti-Trump backlash.
Insofar as we continue to engage in public activism during the Trump presidency, I believe that future events ought to be invitation only, unannounced and privately coordinated. This change in tactics will prevent violent Antifa from mobilizing to oppose our activists. We will have the opportunity to actually engage the public which we didn’t have when we were treated like caged animals in Pikeville, KY, New Orleans, LA and Shelbyville, TN. The costs of painting a target on our backs outweigh the benefits.
I believe everyone in the League of the South will agree that we need to adjust our tactics. The easiest way to fight Antifa is to deny them intelligence and targets to mobilize against. We should steer clear of violent leftists and cut them out of our events so that they will be forced to redirect their harassment to mainstream conservative targets.
Charlottesville
The League of the South’s experience in Charlottesville shows why this is necessary. We announced that we were participating in a public rally months in advance. This gave violent Antifa groups from across the country months to organize and mobilize their supporters to come to Charlottesville to attack our group with all kinds of weapons. It also gave Charottesville officials the excuse they needed to cancel the rally.
In hindsight, I think we failed to appreciate that Charlottesville was demographically the most radically leftwing city in the South. We couldn’t have picked a worse place to hold such a large event in all of Dixie. We failed to anticipate that elected officials in Charlottesville were cowed and hostage to violent Antifa groups. We failed to anticipate that the Charlottesville Police Department and Virginia State Police would stand behind barricades and give violent Antifa a free hand to incite a riot. We failed to anticipate that the corruption in Charlottesville had extended its tentacles into all public institutions.
In Charlottesville, we assumed that with a federal court order we would be allowed to exercise our constitutional right to free assembly as American citizens. We failed to anticipate the degree to which the radicalization of the Left under the Trump presidency meant that the norms of law and order had been suspended in some places. Nothing symbolizes this misconception more than how the Alt-Right cheered in Charlottesville when riot police marched into Lee Park. They assumed that the riot police were being sent in to quell the Antifa engaging in street violence, but instead they were used to clear Lee Park by pushing out the peaceful Alt-Right demonstrators into the crowd of Antifa. The police on duty in Charlottesville were ordered to escalate the violence.
While several League of the South members were returning to their vehicles in the Market Street Parking Garage, they were pursued and assaulted in front of the Charlottesville Police Department in full view of Charlottesville Police Officers. These police officers failed to arrest the suspects which they had witnessed engaging in aggravated assault on their own doorstep. DeAndre Harris raised over $160,000 on GoFundMe. He walked away from that incident scot free while our brother Tyler Davis now faces being sent to prison.
Charlottesville illustrated in vivid detail the folly of trusting the ability of law enforcement in leftwing strongholds to maintain the peace at these events. We can’t trust elected officials in super leftwing cities to respect our constitutional rights. We can’t trust the judicial system in these cities to be fair and impartial. We’ve been taking for granted our constitutional rights as American citizens which violent leftwing gangs have been given the green light to nullify by sympathetic Democratic local officials.
There is nothing for the League of the South to gain from hosting public events in such demographically hostile cities which are announced months in advance. We can’t win in such places. We are only putting ourselves at risk by going there under those unfavorable conditions. It is neither prudent or wise for the League of the South to participate in public rallies in cities like Charlottesville, VA where few of our people even live.
I believe there is a consensus now in the League of the South that we should only hold public rallies in cities where we can recruit and organize potential sympathizers. If we are going to invest time and resources in public activism, we should go to where those people live.
Alliances
From 2013 to 2016 the League of the South steered clear of forming alliances with other groups, but in 2017 at Pikeville we joined the Nationalist Front. In hindsight, I believe we did this out of a spirit of solidarity in a climate of rising leftwing political violence. In such a hostile environment, we began to see the value of strength in numbers and the ugly face of a violent, deranged common enemy.
In 2017, we began to participate in demonstrations with other groups who have different ideologies and agendas, but the price of the greater security at our public demonstrations was the costs of guilt by association. The implosion of the Traditionalist Worker Party in a sordid public sex scandal was one of the things which illustrated the costs of this alignment. We have paid a heavy price for ceding control of our public image.
Is there anything to be gained by participating in these public rallies where we are treated like caged animals and prevented from interacting with the public? I don’t think so. I believe we should discontinue this type of public activism. For the time being, I believe we should host our own private, invitation-only, unannounced public events. We need to reassert control over the messaging and images of our public events. James Fields, Jr., a young man from Ohio who none of us knew, showed the negative impact that unvetted people who aren’t under our control can have on our public events.
The last year has shown that we would be better off just showing up unannounced in cities like Shelbyville, TN and Newnan, GA. We could spend the whole day interacting with the public in cities across a region like Middle Tennessee or North Georgia which would be much more receptive to our message without violent Antifa tagging along and creating a siege mentality in the communities in which we are organizing.
The Alt-Right
In 2017, we aligned ourselves with the Alt-Right, and I now believe that those who had misgivings about this alignment were justified.
The fallout from the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville illustrated the lack of solidarity and cohesion in the Alt-Right movement. Many of our allies in the Alt-Right scapegoated the League of the South for the “bad optics” of Charlottesville. They announced that they were rebranding themselves as American Nationalists.
In the months after Charlottesville, many prominent voices in the Alt-Right have embraced the incel and MGTOW movement. Some have embraced miscegenation out of hatred and loathing of White women. They sneer about the bad optics of the White working class, denigrate Christianity and show contempt for their elders while wrapping themselves in the flag of the US federal government. They have publicly rejected the estate of marriage and discourage young men from starting their own families.
In short, many prominent voices in the Alt-Right showed how much they reject our faith-centered, family-centered, folk-centered worldview. In light of these developments, I have since come to regret jumping on that bandwagon. While I still believe we share some common beliefs on race, I am much more aware now of our cultural differences.
I don’t think we should continue to stray from our identity as Southern Nationalists. I believe we were more successful in appealing to our own people when we presented ourselves as purely Southern and nothing else. I believe we should return to what works and leave the baggage of internet trolls and nihilists to their own corners of the internet.
Donald Trump
In hindsight, I consider supporting Donald Trump another one of my regrets, and now believe the League was correct not to support his candidacy.
While I was right that the Trump presidency would be intensely polarizing, I was wrong that the average Southerner would undergo a political awakening. According to the latest polls, 90% of Republicans support the Trump presidency and that was before the announcement this week that Justice Anthony Kennedy is retiring from the Supreme Court. The average Southern Republican has dozed off and gone back to sleep while his heritage is being systematically destroyed and the First Amendment is being eroded.
President Trump has failed to build his wall which was his signature campaign issue. He has failed to make any meaningful changes to our immigration system. He used populist rhetoric about immigration and trade in order to push the standard conservative agenda of tax cuts and greater military spending through Congress. He has succeeded in deregulating banks for donors who are now fully invested in his presidency. He has done countless things for Israel, but our own borders remain porous.
While I am happy about some aspects of the Trump presidency (for instance, peace with North Korea), I believe he has been far more devastating for our Confederate monuments and free speech than Barack Obama. I don’t believe we have reaped any benefits that are worth the costs. As I predicted at the Arkansas State Conference, we have been absorbing the costs of this political polarization at our demonstrations. We need to make long overdue adjustments to this new reality.
Social Media and Crowdfunding Websites
The precarious foothold we had established on social media and crowdfunding platforms came to a crashing end in 2017.
This is another cost to our movement of the anti-Trump backlash. It was going on long before Charlottesville too. I’m going to count our demise on Facebook as a hidden blessing. I gave an entire speech at last year’s conference in which I lamented how that platform has been misused to sow division and foster in infighting. Facebook was also an invaluable tool that our enemies used to engage in data mining and doxing.
We should be thankful that Mark Zuckerberg has kicked us out of his community. I would argue that the costs of remaining on Facebook outweighed the benefits. We continue to think of ourselves as normal, ordinary people when we should be thinking ourselves as political dissidents. Discord was an even worse and insecure platform than Facebook, but thankfully we never made much use of it.
The loss of access to crowdfunding platforms has been a real financial blow. It ought to teach us a lesson in free-market economics. In the contemporary United States, the free-market consists of two or three leftwing controlled corporate monopolies which are more than willing to use their concentrated economic power in order to harm our community to virtue signal to their to their fellow leftists. We can count on the U.S. Post Office, but not on private crowdfunding platforms like PayPal or Stripe.
What Now?
I used to believe that had to get out there and “do something.”
I believed we had to go into the public square and assert our identity and values. We had to break these evil taboos. We had to defiantly assert our will as a nation to continue to exist as a distinct people on this earth. As a nation, we are headed toward the abyss and those of us who love our people are desperate to change this suicidal course.
Lately, I have been having some second thoughts about this noble, but naive worldview. I’ve begun to wonder if this dystopia we are living through is the just chastisement of an angry, righteous Almighty God. I look at our people who have forsaken their God, who no longer honor their mothers and fathers, who murder their own children and call it “liberty,” who would be proud, patriotic citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah, which they would toast for being “free” and “tolerant” and “modern” and “progressive.” Have you ever wondered if people who are so indifferent to the fate of their own children and their own folk deserve this punishment because of their own wickedness?
In its final days, the degenerate Roman Empire deserved to fall to the barbarians. Now it is America’s turn to lay on its own funeral pyre, a victim of its own ideology, liberal democracy. If ever there was a nation in history which deserved to fall, it is this one, which defies natural law by calling “good” by the name evil and “evil” by the name of good, and which justifies every sin under the cloak of “individual freedom.” The country in which we live holds up moral degenerates as role models. These celebrities have millions of social media followers and set the tone of America’s debased popular culture. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, not people like us, have the ear of the President of the United States.
We are a hated, besieged minority in this dying country – no more than 3% of the population. A common theme that runs through our misfortunes is our failure to recognize how we are strangers in this land. We want to think of ourselves as normal people with all the rights of other American citizens, but we are no longer the mainstream. Instead, it is evil, perversion and injustice that is normal and flourishes in this country, which if our religion is true must be an abomination in God’s eyes. Have you ever thought about what America must look like in God’s eyes? Is there anything we can do to forestall God’s damning judgment?
I believe we should repent, and try to separate ourselves as far as possible from the abomination that is modern America. We’ve tried voting. We’ve tried protesting. This system isn’t going to be reformed and it has never listened to us. When we protest something, we operate on the assumption that American politicians care about what we think, which isn’t true. They only care about serving their donors. The Southern people are sunk in their own personal lives and try to avoid thinking about their future. We’re never going to rouse them to action with a Republican in the White House who is perceived to be successful.
We still have a great task before us, but it involves returning to our roots. We need to become an intellectual movement again. We need to offer our people an alternative vision and way of life. I believe that we have neglected that due to our singleminded focus on public activism. I think we need to emulate the church and focus on morality and education. We’re not producing nearly as much Southern Nationalist content as we need to be. A lost generation is growing up that has been severed from its roots and lacks moral guidance. It doesn’t even know what morality is anymore because it has never been exposed to it.
I don’t think we have taken advantage of all the activities we can hold on private property. It would be nice to have other buildings like this one in other Southern states. We’ve been too focused on forcing the world to change and not enough on developing and articulating our own beliefs and making a persuasive case for them. While I believe we should still hold public events, I don’t believe that public activism should be our primary focus. I’ve found that private family gatherings are the most enjoyable activities I engage in these days. We have sons and daughters to raise and they need to be brought up among peers.
I think we have been putting the cart before the horse. Southern identity is extremely weak and our people lack the strength and will to rise up. They lack a sense of national consciousness. They have too much faith in the system. They lack a sense of moral urgency. They even believe Trump is Making America Great Again. It isn’t true. Nothing about our fate has really changed, but normal people will grasp that comfort blanket to shield themselves from having to face hard truths. These things have to change before we can start to accomplish our goals.
It is the responsibility of the League to articulate and nurture our Southern identity and to show why Americanism has failed and is doomed in the long run. We have to show our fellow Southerners that a better world is possible than this one to entice them to move into a new paradigm. We have to be able to clearly explain to them what is the right way to live and what is the wrong to live and why this is the case. Finally, we have to create an atmosphere that will make more people comfortable and willing to join us. We always have to keep in mind that we are a hated, stigmatized minority.
We’re not accomplishing this by being locked behind steel cages and metal detectors, fighting off frivilous lawsuits or by wrestling with violent leftwing fanatics in the streets. I believe that offering a sense of identity and place, deep roots, new ideas, a new ethos, content and fellowship is a better alternative for our people who are trying to untangle their lives from the abomination. In the year ahead, I believe we should focus more on ourselves and less on the world.

Nice to see that Giffin has returned from the wilderness. Unfortunately, he didn’t bring a plan along with him.
Randomly protesting in obscure rural areas isn’t going to do anything; why does he not understand this? He’s been advocating this “protest” nonsense for years and not only has it had no impact at all, it has done tremendous harm. Lives have been destroyed and your movement discredited. Is this a ploy to solicit donations from supporters or a real effort?
You need to win the hearts and minds of a broad coalition. The best way to do that? A Southern independence movement. Form a political party and use it to organize and build an alternate governing apparatus. Use that apparatus to secede.
This has the following advantages:
1. Purges the spergs. Too many neo-Nazi, autistic dorks hang around the fringes of the far right. They need to be diluted out with a higher class supporter. You don’t do that with appeals to the kinds of things that neo-Nazis and spergs like to do: march around and make fools of themselves.
2. Gives cover for organizing a resistance. People naturally form groups and group loyalties. It is easier to withstand social pressure if you have a set of easily identified supporters along with you. The way things sit now, it is easy to dox and destroy individuals. It’s harder to destroy a group than a person, and individuals are more willing to sacrifice for groups than they are for single individuals or a nebulous ideology.
3. An explicit Southern independence movement will be harder to attack than the alt-right, white nationalists or neo-Nazis in general because any attack on self-styled Southern patriots will be construed by a lot of fence sitters as a subtle attack on them personally. Each attack by outsiders will draw in more supporters.
Everyone wants to think of himself as a “good guy.” Hence, any movement incorporating elements of Nazis will fail. Good to see that Griffin has taken this to heart, purging his website of some Nazi imagery in the comments. Like I said, too many spergs.
Portraying yourselves as the “good guys” (victims of oppression by outsiders) is a great way to attract normies. Make your enemies the bad guys and make sure your audience knows you are the good guys fighting the good fight against oppression.
4. Lends credibility. People want to see competence before they hand over the keys to power. Sticking to alt-right websites will not inspire confidence. Something similar is seen with Washington think tanks. Creating a party of smart, dedicated people is a good place to start.
5. Creates a welcoming refuge for outcasts, making it more likely that people join, rather than defect, to your movement upon attack.
6. Divides the republican party and sets you up to become the de facto resistance. Eventually in this rigged two-party system, people will have to start choosing between the GOP and your independence party. Once the GOP can never win the White House again, there will be nothing stopping Southerners from supporting you over people who can’t win anyway. You should see that in advance and plan accordingly.
7. The promise of reform. The government is extremely corrupt; the media is extremely corrupt. So much so that only fundamental reform – a new country – can change it. This will attract some additional supporters.
8. A future of our own. White suicide is at all time highs, mainly because your people have no future in the Empire. Give them an alternative option where they do, and they will flock to your banner. A new independent country explicitly based on your ethnicity – perhaps with promises to let other European Americans move there after independence – will give people something to fight for. If Israel can have a home land, why can’t you?
9. Funding and support will come. Eventually, foreign governments will find a way to clandestinely back you. Before then, a political party will make it easier to raise money domestically for various reasons.
10. Safety from oppression. The alt-left will inevitably strike back against Trump and his supporters in vile, illegal ways. People will look for defenders from this attack, drawing in more supporters to you.
…I could go on. This well is potentially very deep, but your side lacks the intellectual depth to go after it.
What I am advocating is EXACTLY what the Zionists of the 1920s – 40s advocated, and look how that worked out for them; they have a home of their own now! Why are you any different? Again, is this a ploy for donations or something actually serious?
The point is that Trump has proved that there is still fight left in core America. Channel it, use it. Continue with this delusion that you’re going to take back America and you will lose everything. Cut your loses and win at least something. Don’t give up either and live like the whites do in South Africa.
A really bad idea to devote this article to attacking the AltRight and falsely claiming the AltRight supports MiGTOWs and Incels. The League of the South are just cucks.

Highly naive and optimistic. Any white resistance period to these programs can and will simply be branded as “neo-nazi” by the media propaganda monopoly. Plenty of intellectual arguments have been made for decades which you dismiss out of hand but the public never gets to hear them and your perception of everyone thus far as “neo-nazi spergs and goons” are formed, and government force against such people has consent manufactured and legitimated. What makes you think it would be any different here until genuine whites are a low enough percentage of the population to simply be mass exterminated with direct violence.

Not quite. There is a lot of legal room there. For example, lots of voter oaths state that citizens may not overthrow the government using “illegal”means. Interpret that as you will.
In any case, it would be very good for the government to crack down on such an effort as it would completely delegitimize their authority and expose them as the authoritarians they are; this would further radicalize things.
Further, Cal-Exit types have already set the precedent; there is even a left wing comic book with that title floating around. Until they are hauled away to prison, you can’t really lecture anyone about not doing the same.
If Yugoslavia can break apart with US help, what legal justification could the Empire really use to keep a couple of Southern states from doing the same?

There is a way to get it done peacefully. Just take over a state government, organize the military to support only that government and people, put secession on the ballot, use the military and police to enforce it when you win (and encourage the public to fight in the streets if necessary, offer full pardons to those who do). In other words, use the political party to take over the levers of government and cultural power, then use them against your enemy.
This is EXACTLY what the radical left has done.
They control the media and use them to brainwash people for their ends (see late night propaganda shows on network), they have a suite of control organizations dedicated to shutting down free speech and later justifying it using legal technicalities (ADL, SPLC, etc.), they use lawfare to shut down dissidents, they purge wrong thinkers from social media, they dox and purge dissidents (sometimes with corporate help), they ban websites they don’t like (Daily Stormer – yeah, you can hate Anglin’s guts but the guy should have a right to express himself; how many BLM websites have been shut down?), they promote intimidation rallies against our people by attacking our monuments, they get people fired for exercising their constitutionally protected speech while defending their side when others want to do the same to them (Samantha Bee), they attack us as racists while forbidding us to even point out their hypocrisy on the subject….
The whole system is geared towards making people think they have freedoms that they really do not have. If the wrong people express themselves, they are mercilessly destroyed. Meanwhile, leftist racists run wild doing the same with no consequences or national media attention. See Evergreen State as an example.
The whole corrupt system is geared toward allowing some people to discriminate against others while forbidding their victims from doing the same in turn.
Has any leftist been fired for those hateful statue riots? Lots of right wingers have.
Has any leftist been fired for advocating Cal-Exit? Has corporate America boycotted leftwing racist websites for their role in the Ferguson Effect, now basically proved true along with another study proving white cops do not target blacks? They boycotted Breitbart. Have they boycotted Huffington Compost, Salon, or the Young Turks?
The right lost the culture war because they face an enemy that has done exactly this to them while they sat crowing about “muh freedoms” and “private enterprise.” You can’t win a war with one hand tied behind your back; you can’t be a good guy if your enemy is determined to be the bad guy.

Ignoring a problem does not make it go away. When it comes to race, we all understand this. The defining feature of mainstream conservatism is a belief that by ignoring race, by being “colorblind,” the problem will go away. It only gets worse. But a lot of WNs behave the same way toward the Woman Question. They think if they just ignore White women’s bad behavior, it’ll go away, that the problem is not with women but with those evil
sexistsnon-family-oriented men who notice the problem. But it won’t. In fact, the only way to restore patriarchy is to understand that the modern system of marriage is not traditional, but explicitly anti-traditional, and that this is just as much the case within Christianity as without.If you actually sit down and read, say, Anglin, you immidiately see that he is openly sympathetic to the incels and their problems. Mingtao bullshit(or whatever this attention seeking form is called) was made fun of from the beginning on the AR.

Whatever you may think of their theology (and certain practices), they’re largely characteristic of the exact ideals that Mr. Griffin is promoting.
How long would it take for the League to go from being politically shunned outcasts and targets of violence to having a state and a major university? At which point, mutually beneficial support would be a natural consideration. Perhaps by that time, other movements will have developed along similar lines.
Long-term ain’t exciting, and it sounds like speculative fiction right now, but that’s one way that a politically viable, individually healthy, and principled conservative bloc could arise.
Brad still exhibits “some” faith in the American people. I wish I could say the same. Orwell warned us of an all-encompassing police state in his novel(road map for The Comintern)1984. Personally I think we are there. Bread and circuses are all that matter to ALL Americans, and any “movement” to awaken the sleeping masses is bound to be penetrated if not completely controlled by the intelligence agency’s. Tell me that these word’s do not describe the path of present day America:

Whether or not demonstrations by anyone on the right under Trump are less obstructed is irrelevant at this point in time. Obama’s reign in large part led to Trump’s presidency. It had to end after eight years, and only two scenario were possible: Hillary as POTUS, replacing Scalia, Ginsburg, and perhaps two more Justices on the SCOTUS turning it into a Marxist Dinner Club and a rubber stamp for her depredations, nation-wide gun confiscation supported by Conservative Inc. and a ramping up of the third world invasion to make the entire country into California; Or, Trump (white backlash), whose surprise victory may have been (subliminally) welcomed by the Left since it confirms their delusional view of a white America forever ripe for Fascism and gives them license to act out their fantasies of armed resistance to the Brown Shirts running the show. Neither scenario has a happy ending, but I think the most significant post-2016 election event (getting about 24 hours of attention from the MSM) was James Hodgkinson’s attempted mass murder of a couple of dozen Republican Congressmen. This would have been unthinkable even a few short years ago, but with the left at the helm it’s ho-hum-dee-dum. More of this is on the way and not for just the boys on the top. I think that the author has correctly identified the core problem, and which takes precedence over much of what is written in the remainder of the article.
Copied below is a cut-and-paste of several linked concepts along the same lines. We are not ever going to be able solve anything if we do not start with the cogno-linguistic manipulation of language.
The material is focused on the finance business and on the nature of corporations, but it should become increasingly obvious that our world has become virtually saturated with deceitful language in all areas that are truly important.

1. Humans are highly cogno-linguistic. We perceive reality very largely as a function of the language that we use to describe it. Most everyone inherently believes or assumes that you have to be able to think something before you can say it. The greater reality is that, above a certain base level of perception and communication, you have to have the words and language by which to say something before you can think it.
2. The world is controlled and administered by people who genuinely believe whatever is necessary for the answer they need. Administrative agents of the entrenched-money-power have solved the criminal-law enigma of mens rea or guilty mind by evolving or devolving (take your pick) into professional schizophrenics who genuinely believe whatever they need to believe for the answer they need, and who communicate among themselves subconsciously by how they name things. They suffer a cogno-linguistically-induced diminished capacity that renders them incapable of perceiving reality beyond labels.
3. Their core business model or modus operandi is the systematized delusion:
The primary false premise and central delusion of the broadly-defined global financial system is that falsifying financial securities (e.g., mortgages and other evidence of debt) to overstate the nominal creditor’s underwriting or nominal investment, and to conceal by omission rebates and other forms of kick-back to the nominal creditors and their solicitors, is not wrongful if the nominal debtor is required to consent to it as a condition of the credit transaction which is itself both funded and secured by the falsified securities; all of which fuels an ever-more-ballooning and ever more massively fraudulent global falsified-security-feed-back-loop.
To qualify as a professional schizophrenic in the world of finance, you must have at least one personality that is incapable of understanding why that foundational business model – and one essential element of all money-increment / ponzi / kiting schemes in practice – is wrongful and criminal in and of itself. One personality knows and can see that it is obviously wrongful and objectively criminal, while the other must genuinely believe that it is not.
[Footnote: I am using the term “lender” (and “borrower”) here to demonstrate the fraudulent nature of the process even where the lender is actually loaning pre-existing money. Later I will show that the fraud is compounded again in the case of a “creditor” who is merely insuring or reinsuring the credit that it itself receives from the nominal debtor.]

Oscillating contradictions and cogno-linguistic manipulation
The primary means by which corporate supremacy is achieved and maintained in practice is via the maintenance and use of a small arsenal of about two dozen critical counter-sense or yo-yo-like words / terms that are asserted or claimed to mean either “X” or “Minus-X” at the option of the decision-maker.
Among the most important and sui generis (in a class of its own) is the word person which is held to mean a living, breathing being of conscience (literally a being of equity) with the rights, powers and privileges of such being (“X”), or else it can mean a corporate entity which is a notional / inanimate item of property to be bought and sold and otherwise traded for profit in the stock and financial markets (“Minus-X”).
By way of example / demonstration of the ongoing cognitive manipulation process, if someone had managed to hit the judges of the U.S. Supreme Court with a blast of truth-ray just before they announced their decision in Citizens United, here is what we may have got instead:
[Footnote: Citizens’ United is the U.S. case that decided that corporate political donations are protected free speech under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution because corporations are deemed to be persons in law. The Court ruled that corporate persons have to have the same 1st Amendment rights as their shareholders. But all shareholders are themselves corporate persons (i.e., you cannot own shares as a natural person or living being of conscience). And even if they were not, the vast majority of shares are owned by other conventional corporations. For whatever reason the Court did not address that technicality. Nor, critically, did the Court deal with the impossibility of maintaining shareholder immunity. If a corporation has a right of free speech as an extension of the shareholder, then the shareholder must be held personally liable for the consequences of that speech.]
Essentially all counter-sense words / terms follow that same template. Notwithstanding that the respective concepts are logically and objectively mutually exclusive, the judges of the Courts (and the broadly-defined financial-world / social-control-structure) maintain that it can be either or both, and we’ll let you know if and when it becomes important.
So a corporate person has a right of free speech when giving money to influence political parties, but not to object to itself being sold as a piece of property in the stock and financial markets or when it is acquired in a merger or takeover financed by its own assets. If a corporation has the legal capacity and rights of a natural person, then how can it be owned as the legal property of another? The purpose of the Courts is to ensure that that question is never presented in that way.
But to truly appreciate what happened in Citizens United, we have to go at least one level deeper into the rabbit hole.
The judges of the Supreme Court effectively ruled that corporations have the same legal status and capacity as natural persons, but conveniently neglected to ask / mention: What kind of natural persons?
[Footnote: A “natural person” is a contradiction in terms because all “persons” are created by law and not otherwise. But I will play along with the fiction here and for the time being.]
In law, corporations have the legal capacity of mentally-incompetent (non compos mentis) natural-persons (like a small child / infant or a man or woman in a coma). That is why they have directors and executive officers, and can only be represented in Court by attorneys who are themselves members and representatives of the private for-profit corporation known as the BAR ASSOCIATION(S) whose corporate HQ is the City of London.
Nelson Rockefeller spelled-it-out for us: “Own nothing. Control everything”.
With one fell swoop (Citizens United) the judges of the Supreme Court captured a measure of legal control of all corporate assets throughout much of the world on behalf of the BAR ASSOCIATION (or at least whatever remained that was not already under its control). In an ever increasing number of jurisdictions and/or venues even the 100% sole owner and shareholder of a corporation cannot represent the corporation (their own property) in Court.
Whatever you may believe and whatever your true position, if your attorney is prohibited by the policy of the controlling-minds-in-fact behind the BAR ASSOCIATION from taking such a position, then it cannot even be given voice in Court.
The controlling-minds-in-fact behind the private business entity known as the BAR ASSOCIATION now ultimately control all corporate assets throughout much of the world, and even the wealthy owners of the corporations have nothing to say about it if and when there arises a conflict between the policy of the owners and the policy of the said controlling minds behind the BAR ASSOCIATION.
Citizens United was misdirection, where the true rulers got exactly what they wanted without the broader audience even cluing in to what was really going on.
Cogno-linguistic manipulation for fun and profit
After person, the remaining most significant counter-sense or yo-yo-like words are (surprise surprise) essentially all money-and-finance-based, and the most important among these is the word principal and its role in facilitating illegal front-loading or ex-temporal fraud (interest illegally and unlawfully compounded in advance).
Is the amount of principal the actual or net amount advanced by the creditor and received by the debtor for their own use and control? Or is it the amount that the debtor agrees that they owe regardless of the amount received? Is the amount of principal a question of fact? Or of the agreement of parties?
In the process example used above, what is the principal amount of the loan? Is it $10,000 because that is the factual net amount invested by the creditor and received by the debtor for their own use? Or is it $15,000 because that is the amount that the debtor is required to falsely agree that they have received and owe as a condition of the loan? Or is it $20,000 because that is the total cash-equivalent / money assets ($15,000 mortgage + $5,000 cheque) that the debtor has to give to the creditor?
Is it a noun / fact? Or is it an adjective / opinion merely pretending to be a noun? All debt and therefore money in the world today depends on the answer to that question that theoretically cannot exist.
Principal is a special type (and most significant form) of counter-sense word or oscillating contradiction where dictionaries normally only give one sense, while commercial practice defines the contrary. It would be very difficult to put the Whatever-the-debtor-agrees-that-they-owe sense into a dictionary, because the fraud against meaning (as well as the criminal law) is manifest in spelling it out, and ever more so in more specialized financial dictionaries.
So virtually every legal, financial, accounting, and ordinary English dictionary and/or regulation defines it to the effect “The actual amount invested, loaned or advanced to the debtor / borrower net of any interest, discount, premium or fees”, while virtually every financial security in the real world at least implicitly incorporates the fraudulent alternative / contrary meaning. This in turn allows the academic world to function on the rational / factual definition, while the markets maintain a wholly contradictory deemed or pretended reality, while both remain oblivious to the contradiction.
Thus principal means the nominal creditor’s actual and net investment, unless it doesn’t. With this class of counter-sense word where there is a necessary and definitive answer, the real job of the judges of the Courts becomes to make certain that the question is never officially asked, and under no circumstances is it to be definitively answered.
With just one of these words you can theoretically steal the Earth. With a financial system that is relatively saturated with them, such becomes child’s play. With these rules a group of competently-trained chimpanzees otherwise pulling levers at random could do as well as the so-called wizards of Wall Street.
And significantly, these oscillating contradictions enable the judges to be self-righteous in the extreme on behalf of the entrenched-money-power, while looting the little people of the product of their labour. As in: You have received the principal amount ($10,000) and you are going to pay back the principal amount ($15,000) plus the ever-accumulating (and super-leveraged) interest upon it according to your contract, while the meaning of the word oscillates between fact and opinion – between a noun and an adjective – according to what the judge needs it to mean (or accommodate) at any given instant in time. It seems impossibly obvious in this simple example, but with several of them orchestrated simultaneously or sequentially, anything can truly be made to mean anything.
As I progress I will cover the major counter-sense words and terms such as loan, credit, discount, interest, rate-of-interest, agreement, contract, security, repay, restitution, etc., all of which mean either “X” or its conceptual opposite “Minus-X” at the option of the entrenched-money-power whose vast financial fortunes are founded on such cogno-linguistic arbitrage.
Linguistic anthropologists refer to the language-based perception-shift in general terms as the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis, which can be summarized as follows with respect to the financial world:

George Orwell would later at least implicitly incorporate a more sinister variation of it into his definition of doublethink:

Counter-sense words or oscillating contradictions are thus the tools or basic-building-blocks that gives an administrative superstructure comprised of professional schizophrenics its power of holding multiple sets of two contradictory beliefs in the mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them, and all of them, respectively.
It is therefore also important to be ever vigilant. If you catch a banker or solicitor in the principal deception, for example, they are trained to reply to the effect: “Oh that is just the difference between the “principal amount” advanced and the “principal amount” secured, which of course is just begging the question and which renders the word principal redundant and therefore meaningless.
More generally, the minds of bankers and finance solicitors are trained according to the format of this joke:
More visually, the same cognitive association / disassociation process followed by bankers and solicitors is closely analogous to the late Michael Jackson doing his moonwalk where he appears to be walking in one direction while actually / physically moving in the opposite direction (or not moving at all).
The upside is that once you figure out what they are doing, then it becomes almost impossible to deny, and their situation flips from having no problem to suddenly having two problems.
But again, our most immediate concern is that since 1990, all of it, domestic and international, has been and remains to protect the legal profession and its malpractice insurance / bonding underwriters from the legal and financial consequences of engaging in prima facie (and constructive strict-liability) racketeering activities, primarily creating and trafficking in falsified-securities / constructive-forgeries.
[Footnote: Strict liability in this sense means upon establishment of the facts and does not depend on actual mens rea or guilty mind. The primary consequence is that a corporation, with no mind in fact, is convicted in its own right on the facts and regardless of the state of mind of any given employee, officer or other agent of the corporation. But if and when that should happen, the directors and / or executive officers of the corporation become both culpable and liable and in their personal / equity capacity and not in their official capacity. Again, a corporation, per se, is no more capable of committing a mens rea criminal offence than an innocent child or man or woman in a coma.]

Definitely true. A lot of the criticism of MGTOW is that you should be strong Men, game your wife so on and so forth but…why? Why should you have to constantly be on edge in what, marriage, was supposed to be a system for both Men and Women to raise a family in. If the system is broken where Men have no “legal” control over their lives and their offspring then maybe we ought to change the system or refuse to participate in it. Men have enough problems we don’t need any more burdens placed on us. Originally Men exchanged excess labor for offspring and taking care of the wife and kids. If the wife left he got the kids. If Men lose the kids and still have to maintain the finances of the family, assuming no fault, then this is bum deal and shouldn’t be entered in to.
Now there is a solution. Instead of working within the system go around it. Get a law passed to have more than one kind of marriage. Call it the super duper Platinum marriage or whatever and make it the same as the old marriage where the husband can’t be thrown to the wolves and if there’s a divorce the husband gets the kids. No divorce without fault. Most important charge more for it. Leave the old no-fault courthouse wedding in place and see just how many people pick the the no-fault walk away marriage as opposed to the new forever marriage. Best of all no one can bitch about people choosing what type marriage they want.

The US government might cite US municipal law to prohibit secession. But the ICJ’s Kosovo advisory opinion of 22 July 2010 held that national self-determination accords with customary and conventional international law. The former is US state and federal common law. The latter is equivalent to federal statute. (That is the Supreme Court’s The Paquete Habana decision.) In particular, self-determination of peoples is supreme law of the land with which domestic law at all levels must come into conformity.
All you need to do to be a sovereign state is accept the concomitant responsibility. Sovereignty is nothing more than responsibility – that is the consensus of the entire world, affirmed by acclamation. The US government has failed to accept responsibility and forfeited its sovereignty. Just pick up the mantle the US government dropped, and the whole world will be with you. You have to do it anyway, or no country is going to recognize you and you’ll never get loose of the US parasite state.
How? Easy. You accede to the Rome Statute, the UN Charter, and the International Bill of Human Rights. Write them into your constitution by reference. Now before everybody backs up and makes a crucifix with your fingers, take a look. It’s a much better deal than your obsolete crap bill of rights. It’s the only way you can protect your cultural rights.

Good point making a parallel to the Mormons. In my own state I have always been astonished at how the Amish have flourished by following the basics: strong family bonds, hard work, a rigid moral code (all the things the left tries to destroy in modern America).

If some did then they were only speaking for themselves and not the entire alt-right.
LotS is really just a conservative organization some of whose members still seem to be refighting the civil war. It doesn’t even appear to place very much if any emphasis on race, but I could be wrong. As such it doesn’t possess the ideological mettle to do battle with the radical left and their revolutionary agenda of white dispossession and genocide.

The Alt Right message has gone mainstream, and I believe Brad Griffin has not realized that yet.
This does not mean however that people like himself or Richard Spencer have gone mainstream or will ever go mainstream. They and we are and were just the first wave of messengers of white European empowerment and then others we inspired took on the message and carried it forward to bigger, receptive audiences of whites of European descent.
The best example of this mainstreaming of the Alt Right worldview is the example of Lauren Southern. In theory, you are correct.
Me, personally, I’ll start believing into slim chance of a secession when see ex US Military flag officers, in favor of secession, writing articles, essays, creating think tanks and stuff like that.

Your Yugoslavia example is actually a good one. Secession was supported, ultimately, by US Government and, more importantly, by US Military.
Kosovo would never have seceeded without aggression on Yugoslavia.

Let me outline some lessons from history. Social movements need to help with both spiritual and material needs. The medieval church certainly did. Even the freemasons did. That’s probably the best take on Griffin I’ve seen. It also neatly explains why he will ultimately fail at anything he does: his movement lacks a broadly agreed upon ideology in our increasingly secular societies. YOU appear to be a “political thinker”. I am just an ex-soldier. Now, I have some experience re secession (or so I say….Internet blabbing and such). So, I could, probably, say how a two star General would see all that (I worked, in a very small capacity, of course, for such types, or so I say….).
Extremely simplified:
The General isn’t happy with his society. But, he isn’t a politician, can’t do much about it. He’ll try to get his pension and live his years. But, he’ll constantly WATCH and wait for an opportunity. He’ll be able to seize it if/when he sees it.
He reads a material put together by some people. Key expression: some people. It resonates. Feels right. A vision for a new society.
Then, the General does his own, personal, feasibility study. In essence, can that vision be implemented. And, make no mistake, violence will be required. What type, who knows? Maybe just some fisticuffs in streets. Or, maybe, a full blown conventional warfare.
In US case, perhaps even with (tactical) nukes.
Or, maybe escalating in MAD because external parties get involved.
Anyway….the General believes it can be done; feasibility study proves that.
Then, the General contacts some of his people and they do that study again.
When all of them are on the same page you can expect them to do something.

I/We have written extensively about the Latter Day Saints – Mormon church at Occidental Dissent. I’ve been a part of the LDS church for 20 years, definitely have their strengths and weaknesses.
Strengths – good organizations, have resisted most of the cultural/political plagues of the late 1960s – dodged the bullet of feminism. LDS doesn’t have full time political priesthood, local church leaders were chosen by the local congregation so there isn’t the huge problem of seminaries being taken over by cultural marxists, liberation theology, sexual degenerates as has happened with Catholic church and all mainline protestant churches.
LDS are good at sports and music – they are terrible, god awful public speakers, extremely boring and this translates in to political leaders like Orin Hatch.

I appreciate the writer’s frustration, but Trump is doing his best to accomplish the border wall, a pro-life agenda, and promoting family values. But the way our system works, Congress has to give him money, and district judges are obstructing him in a historically unprecedented way. He’s fighting many enemies. The writer could have done no better (and likely much worse) in enacting his desired agenda.
The desecration of monuments and invigoration of the left may have been slightly less under Hillary, but there would have been no light at the end of that tunnel. With Trump, there’s a chance. Those were the two choices. I do think there’s hope now.

Sad, but true. Whites aren’t particularly intelligent or creative. My theory:
People don’t change their beliefs after about the age of 30, regardless of fact or circumstance. Since the country has changed so dramatically so quickly, there hasn’t been time enough for a new generation to come to power – one that has experienced a taste of what’s to come. You see hints of the younger generation getting panicked you Youtube over SJWs…but not so much for older types raised in American patriotism. That’s why you don’t see this idea on Unz: the average commenter is probably 45-55 y.o.
Add that to all the creature comforts and mass social media brainwashing, and the people are just too comfortable to make drastic changes. Only when the water starts boiling will they – too late – try to do anything about it.
That may have something to do with the theory you spoke of. Rome ceased to be Rome long before it collapsed. People learned to keep their heads down and became unwilling to fight for something they felt wasn’t representative of their close circle. Nations are basically extended families. People will fight for it and sacrifice for it when they feel that they are doing themselves – their genes – a favor. When that ceases to be the case, the motivation to sacrifice and fight for it vanishes. People keep their heads down and go along to get along.
I think it’s maybe time we start considering other countries to move to.

Having followed Hunter’s work for some time, and being a Brit living in America, I feel obligated to point out an uncomfortable fact:
The average White American can’t be saved.
Now before people get angry with me for being the bearer of bad news, please try to look at this logically. The rate of inter-racial marriage in America is much higher than in Europe and most White Americans have zero conception of ‘blood & soil.’ America lacks the critical mass necessary to create a successful racialist movement.
The solution is to leave the nation. You want your own ethno-state? Well you are not going to build it inside the USA. The Union is one of the most powerful nations in the world and it will not let you secede. You would need far higher quality people than what you have to work with. So my advice is to stop trying to fight the inevitable and instead adapt to the circumstances you find yourself in:
1. Begin petitioning nations such as New Zealand and Russia to allow you to settle there.
2. Begin building American communities abroad.
That is what I would do if I were you.

New Zealand has a retarded government (and lots of diversity in the North Island) but from what I’ve heard the South Island is something like 90% White, is more conservative, and has a small total population (less than 2 million).
If we could meme ‘South Island Independence’ into becoming a mainstream thing then we could cleave NZ in half and begin moving like minded ethnic Britons from across the Anglosphere to the South Island. Within a few years we could have a self-sufficient ethno-state.
Btw, what’s the alternative? If we move to Eastern Europe we will be assimilated into the Slavic masses (which I would be happy to do if I were a Slav). I want my co-ethnics to have a future and to preserve our unique traits.
