Yes and No. Yes the J’s did invent the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and John as propaganda to lure back J converts to Christianity back to a form of Judeo-Christianism. The original New Testament was compiled by Marcion in the first century and comprised only Paul’s Letters and parts of the Gospel of Luke. The Gospels were written decades after Paul’s letters. Marcion’s New Testament spread all the way to Rome and was the accepted scripture.

However, this original NT disappeared in what must have been a mass book burning. It was only rediscovered in 1910 by Adolph Harnack who reverse engineered it from reading Tertullian’s line by line criticism titled Against Marcion.

The first New Testament was compiled by Marcion and was comprised of only Paul’s Letters and parts of the Gospel of Luke (which is all existed at the time). Decades later the J’s wrote the other gospels as propaganda to claims Jesus was a J, when he was a Gentile from Galilee (not one of the 12 tribes of Israel). On the second occasion, it was one or two sentences, easily reconstructed, but on the first, it was some 1,500 words composed over the course of ninety minutes. I need hardly add that I was steamed.
