  9. Steve, the leaders know its a joke. Merkel knows, she has a Phd in Physics IIRC, she’s not stupid.

As much as I share your horror at the coming vibrancy, because I can clearly see myself being beaten to death for having the wrong skin color, accent, race, and culture, when I am old and weak and alone, by vibrant diverse multiculturalists, I have come to the conclusion that most middle and working class Whites do not share these fears.

Most European and American Whites don’t like living in White majority nations. They want the borders erased and most of the Third World here. Merkel had no boner, most Europeans seem delighted still by the idea of fundamentally transforming their nations. We elected a guy who promised just that. And has. Merkel knew well these were Tony Montanas. That’s the point. She wanted them. As did most of the women in Germany and in fact Europe. Look at the people applauding. Almost all women.

White women get feelz and tingles, compared to the rule following, dutiful, and obsolete (by the Welfare State, female consumerism, feminism pc mongering) beta White males. They also get a huge population to nanny, hector, uplift, and babysit, both adults and kids, and White women love this — more than having their own with beta White males. Business and politicians seek rent-a-voters, as do ethnic lobbies. Religious people are committed to the John Lennon Imagine Religion.

I respect and admire your work, Peter Brimelow’s, Roissy’s/Heartiste’s, Paul Kersey’s, Tom Tancredo’s, you are all heroes in the full sense of the word, sacrificing a lot more than I would for duty and honor and your nation and people. But I think the raising of White women to be equal upset the delicate balance of European nations from beta males being productive (because they produce wealth and military power against enemies) to destructive (a beta male JUST slightly higher than women is positional Alpha, one equal is loathed). The self-loathing of the West is the result of White women hate hate hating beta males because they were suddenly raised up to be the beta males equals instead of slight inferiors that made said beta males sexy.

They figure, 'since America says it is all about human rights, it should accept me if i'm all about human rights too.' America is about statue of liberty than statue of identity(like Mother Russia statue in Volgograd that stands for defense of Russia from invasion).

And within the US itself, even among citizens, so much can be gained by invoking 'human rights'. Take the ownership society. It is a human right to own a house, you see. Banks loved the idea and made all those loans, bundled them, and sold them all over world to reap record profits. Mixing profits and human rights. Give Indians those casinos. It is historical justice. Human right through spread of culture of avarice, swindling, and greed.
We actually don't need Tony Montanas of the world to profit from 'human rights' in the US. Just cook up some scheme, brand it as 'human rights' and 'anti-racist', and sell it all over.

Libs say it’s a big big problem that the West isn’t having enough kids. Demographic demise. And they say immigration is good cuz it provides fresh new people.

But if demographic demise is bad, shouldn’t we ask why it is happening in the West so that it cannot even reproduce itself?
The answer is radical feminism, radical individualism, excessive narcissism, ultra-hedonism, infantilism(via youth culture), and sex-centrism(as opposed to sex-and-familism). Sex-centrism focuses the meaning of sex only on pleasure whereas sex-and-familism sees sex as means of having family and loving family members.
Narcissism prevents girls from marrying. They think they are so special that they wait for Mr. Perfect who’s not around. Sex-centrism prevents guys from getting married cuz they see marriage as end to all the cun*-hunt running around. What? Miss out on the adventure by being stuck with one girl?

So, Western values that Libs love so much have big problems. Any set of values that cannot even make a people survive demographically is a failure. Ideas must be judged by consequences, and Western Liberal values, as currently practiced, lead to death of civilization. If a Liberal society relies on demographic infusion from illiberal societies, it means Liberalism is not self-sustaining. Also, if illiberal masses eventually fill up a Liberal society, it won’t be Liberal for long. (Given the degeneration of ‘liberal values’ into ‘gay marriage’ and flying homo flags in churches, maybe that isn’t entirely bad. Btw, if Liberalism is about rational skepticism, how is it rational or skeptical to deliriously and rapturously worship the homo? And if Liberals are for secularism against the Church, why are they so insistent on pressuring churches to celebrate homos as holy? And why do they appropriate religious iconography, as with US media’s depiction of Obama in 2008 as some kind of messiah?)

Remember that the Mariel invasion was as a result of Fidel Castro cleverly calling the bluff of the naive Jimmy Carter who kept calling on Castro to "let his people go." We keep electing utter fools to positions of high power. I recently related the story of Sen. Henry "Scoop" Jackson, the former socialist who was a hero of the neocons and a co-sponsor of the Jackson-Vanik Amendment which forced the Soviet Union to "free" the nonreligious Jews because their freedom of religion was being infringed. When Jackson tried to pull the same shit on the Chinese Communist leader Teng Xiaoping, Teng said, without batting an eye, "sure, no problem, how many do you want? Ten million? 20 million? 30 million?" Jackson gulped and quickly changed the subject. If China was only 90 miles from Key West, I am sure we would have seen boat loads of Chinese making it to U.S. shores.

    http://www.nationalreview.com/article/424010/jeremy-corbyn-british-labour-party-political-suicide

    Can this happen here?

First, did Brit Labour lose because it went too far left or because the Tories whored themselves out to globalists even more? There is nothing conservative about Cameron. Cameron is like yeltsin in the 90s. He has tons of money and media support cuz he cucks out to the globalists. He merely outdid Blair.

Labour didn’t lose to Cameron because it went too far left. It was because Cameron went more globalist, even more than Labour. It is now turning ‘far left’ only because it lost and has nothing to win.. thus nothing to lose in saying what it really feels like.

So, the only hope for Labour to win is to go even more globalist than Cameron. (One advantage that the Tories have is the ability to win over globalist elites, the middle class, and conservatives who figure Tories are still better than Labour. Tories are pro-diversity — enough to please the globalists and Liberals — but also symbolically patriotic, and that draws white votes. In contrast, Labour is now so closely allied with diversity that it has problem pulling in whites). But if Labour goes even more globie than Cameron, it would be pointless. It’d be like playing chicken over a cliff.

So, Labour decided to lose politically but gain power as the principled opposition. Since it doesn’t hope to win, it can say just about anything.

One big difference between US and UK is that UK is still sufficiently white that Tories could still win with only white votes. That used to be the case in the US too, which is why Reagan and Bush won despite most non-whites overwhelmingly voting for Democrats. But the British option may no longer be there for white Americans unless more whites go GOP. But a lot of whites, especially in key urban areas, conflate the GOP with hick ‘racist’ south.
In contrast, there is nothing like the American South in British politics. Also, British Conservatism is more like the Northeast Establishment conservatism of Rockefellers, and this is more appealing to urban whites in UK.

Trump is seen as uncouth, but the thing is he is a very urban NY phenomenon. He may energize the white base in flyover country and the south, but he also makes the GOP more appealing to city folks. Even as white Libs may sneer at him, they don’t really hate him like they do people like Huckabee. Huckabee is nicer but from the south and not part of urban Lib culture. Trump, for all his ‘racist’ sayings about Mexico, is very much part of pushy NY. His style can pass for ‘one of us’ among urbanites.

There's method to the madness. Labour need to win back Scotland. They need to kill the SNP. That's their most urgent priority right now. Choosing Corbyn is an attempt to outflank the SNP on the left, since his brand of redestributionist socialism is popular there. Labour can win without the middle class white southern English vote (the sort of people who gave Blair his super-majorities), but they can't win without the Scottish vote.

He's also pro-immigration and anti-Israel which will give him the minority/Muslim vote in England.

    Indeed.

And the arguments change mid-stream. First, it's: "the glorious immigrant will bring us wealth and prosperity!" After pointing to the blight in their wake, the argument becomes: "well, 'merica sucks and needs to be punished for all its various faults. Mass immigration is a good tool to punish 'merica for not [moving faster on climate change] (insert criticism du jour).

    , @M-Dot
    @Dennis Dale

Agree. We try to win every argument on points when it's many times better to put them in the defensive crouch. They don't care about points and will always move the goalposts. Better to say "dang, you're right, so let's take your argument to the logical conclusion that supports my point." - agree & amplify

Even worse is this silly Native American argument isn't even saying "we must let these people in because they have a historical grievance against us," but that "we must let these people in because someone else (NA or Blacks) have a historical grievance against us." The silliness of such an argument is obvious.

  21. At the end of the day, a land belongs to those people willing and able to defend it. European and American whites are unwilling to defend their land. The Native Americans were unable to defend their land. Either way, the land is lost.

I wish it wasn’t the case, but it’s hard for me to generate much sympathy for my own kind if we don’t even have the balls to say, “Hey, wait a second. This is mine. Leave it alone.”

  22. OT: school district achieves diversity in gifted and talented program! (Sort of)

    http://www.theatlantic.com/education/archive/2015/09/inequality-gifted-programs-schools-testing/405013/

So what happens when you give every student a chance?

For starters, according to a new NBER working paper, you get a massive increase in diversity. At least that was the case at public schools in one of the United States’ largest and most diverse urban school districts.

But here’s what they mean by “give every student a chance:”

In 2005, the district adopted universal screening instead of using a referral program; all second-grade students took an ability test, and those who scored above a given threshold took an IQ test in order to qualify for a gifted-and-talented program.

Just passing the test didn’t guarantee a spot; there also was input from parents and teachers on whether the student possessed things like motivation, creativity, and adaptation. The threshold on the initial test was lowered slightly for disadvantaged “Plan B” students, who were either eligible for free or discounted lunches based on their family’s income, or were English-language learners.

So all they had to do was give everyone an IQ test, lower the standard for some students, and introduce subjective criteria like “creativity,” and voila! Diversity. (Although technically, whites were still over-represented)

I can’t believe nobody has tried this during the past fifty years…

A Danish teenager stabbed her own mother to death after becoming radicalised by watching Islamic State videos of beheadings with an Islamist boyfriend twice her age.

Granted, the little slut was probably deranged to begin with, but without 30ish Muslims in detention centers nearby, she might have confined her criminality to shoplifting.

The court heard how she had been radicalised by an unnamed Muslim man, who had broken off the relationship to return to Sweden. She reportedly then met Mr Abdulla at a refugee centre near her home.

So logically the only way that statement works as a pro-immigration argument is if they see mass immigration and demographic replacement as a punishment for our sins.

But here's what they mean by "give every student a chance:"

So all they had to do was give everyone an IQ test, lower the standard for some students, and introduce subjective criteria like "creativity," and voila! Diversity. (Although technically, whites were still over-represented)

I can't believe nobody has tried this during the past fifty years...

  51. Scarface is one of the greatest movies of the 1980’s which only gets better and more relevant with age. It has a magical, surreal quality to it that keeps it always just at the edge of parody. The combination Pacino, De Palma and Oliver Stone produced an alchemical, pastel colored, decadent, fevered Miami dream.

Like any great 80’s movie, it features a cheesy pop music montage that is completely ridiculous, yet at the same time, it undeniably just works.

    Push It To The Limit

Push It To The Limit is not just the mantra of a manic 1980’s Miami drug lord, but basically the ethos of much of American elite with respect to financial, trade and immigration policy over the last thirty years.

Scarface exhibits an interesting and complex Miami ethnic milieu that in some ways foreshadows Jeb Bush’s Latino dynasty. Cuban immigrant, Tony Montana, aligns himself with the Columbian drug lord, Alejandro Sosa, a White Hispanic with connections to the Columbian elite and the CIA. In order to launder his ill-begotten millions, Tony strikes up a partnership with the ultimate Miami WASP, Jerry the “Banker”, who provided a legitimate front for Tony’s drug money. As seen in the clip, Jerry the “Banker” is the perfect 1980’s business man cover for a criminal enterprise. Tony’s criminal empire is basically conduit whereby the Columbian White elite can launder their money through presentable WASP financial fronts. Two elite ethnic groups, exploiting the people of both respective countries.

Interesting that “Montana Management Co.” is actually located in Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood and the Brickell Avenue Bank where the money is unloaded was actually shot in Encino on Ventura Boulevard just down the road from Valley Village.

I don't think Harry was seriously considered for the role of Elvira, although I agree (as both Michelle and Deb do) that they look similar and that her hairstyle and mannerisms might have been consciously modeled after (then major female pop star) Harry's. Remember, at that time Harry was upset and overweight while tending to the ill Chris Stein and also she had only had a couple of indie film roles. She was much less bankable than Pfeiffer, who was (Grease 2 aside) widely considered an up and comer with a substantial TV portfolio. Also, Harry was 38 then, Pfeiffer 25. Deb does appear on the soundtrack, though, which led a lot of bozos to think Pfeiffer WAS Harry.

Harry did, however, have one big role-that-got-away: Isabella Rosselini's in Blue Velvet. Rosselini is younger, but not by as much.

Could Deb have been really big on the silver screen? Maybe, maybe not. I have a sneaking suspicion that she might eventually get one big role later in life, like Helen Hayes in Airport. As I recall, Hayes won a second Oscar for that. Harry's about that same age now, has anyone won a first Best Actress at that age?

In the meantime, she' s done some fairly good work in indie films in the nineties and 00's. I particularly liked her role in Heavy with Liv Tyler and Shelley Winters.

I agree entirely with your larger point but let's be a little more fair.

Fustat was built by the conquering Arab regime, was a large and impressive city by the standards of its era for centuries, and continued to thrive even when the next Arab regime built a newer capital nearby, Cairo. It was destroyed by an Egyptian Arab ruler to keep it from the hands of invading Crusaders, and since it was no longer the capital they let it go to seed and be absorbed by Cairo even when they had driven the invaders out. THEN, from a postwar ruin annexed by the greater city, it became used as a dump. The dump has to go somewhere in every city, and Fustat WAS a ruin after all. Standards of municipal sanitation weren't all that great in that era anywhere west of China.

So one thing it was not was an existing great city turned into a dump by migrant refugees. Lots of civilizations have abandoned old cities, or applied scorched earth in war, and rebuilt elsewhere. Babylon to Seleucia to Ctesiphon to Baghdad come to mind. Most of ancient Rome was cannibalized and the Forum used as a dump for centuries, though the new city was built atop and around more so than adjacent.

Or think of the old and new towns of countless European cities, or the churning of neighborhoods in American cities. Fustat lived for hundreds of years. Detroit lasted much less.

Insofar as his backyard was private property under legal title within a legal system maintained by a functioning state, and his claim to it is guaranteed by that system with only limited provision and circumstances for squatters' rights, and these not including his mere absence at work or on vacation, no.

Between nations and peoples, these things are typically settled by combination of international law that is mutually recognized, diplomacy, or war. When the peoples are new to one another, or still more operating at radically different levels of institutional organization, the first is largely unavailable. Also, if at this level a territory is unoccupied in the sense that no existing population lives there or makes claim to it and defends that claim, then it's fair game. Plymouth was not occupied nor was any polity in existence that claimed it as its territory.

The US and Europe have populations that live in many areas now being settled by incomers, do have defined polities and laws that claim defined territories, exercise legal jurisdiction and provide police powers over them, and even provide the infrastructure and public services being used by the settlers in those areas, who are required to bring none of these themselves. Even the most under-policed and under populated areas of the southwest US, for example, have roads and electrical and phone lines cutting through them, put there by Americans under American laws and regulations.

Michelle Pfeiffer playing Deborah Harry playing Elvira the mobster slut. IIRC the real thing had gotten too high on Brian de Palma's supply during the initial meet and ZFG DePalma replaced her with the younger, and truthfully more talented (as an actress) Pfeiffer.

It was a huge career boost for Pfeiffer, after the disastrous "Grease 2".

Elvira is Pfeiffer's character's name. I think you are thinking "Cassandra Peterson".

  67. How many times????

I would say at least once a month.

But could you mix it up a bit?

Steve, you lived in Chicago for almost a decade. Don’t tell me you have never seen the edited for TV version of Scarface that WGN channel 9 in Chicago use to show about once a month for decades.

Nothing like Kevin Spacey doing his best Pacino impersonation for the overdubs.

    “Eating Pineapple” indeed!!!

God only knows why they're called "anti-Semites"; they're awfully quick to give 95% of Semites a pass.

I glanced at your linked map, and noticed Fustat. I can imagine the invaders seeing something not available at home, and asking, "Fustat?"

Wikipedia explains the future fate of this Arab capital:

The area fell into disrepair for hundreds of years and was used as a garbage dump.

German voters should read that sentence. Repeatedly.

    Replies: @random observer

I agree entirely with your larger point but let’s be a little more fair.

Standards of municipal sanitation weren’t all that great in that era anywhere west of China.

Your backyard was unoccupied yesterday. Does that make it fair game?

    Replies: @random observer

Insofar as his backyard was private property under legal title within a legal system maintained by a functioning state, and his claim to it is guaranteed by that system with only limited provision and circumstances for squatters’ rights, and these not including his mere absence at work or on vacation, no.

Between nations and peoples, these things are typically settled by combination of international law that is mutually recognized, diplomacy, or war. When the peoples are new to one another, or still more operating at radically different levels of institutional organization, the first is largely unavailable. Also, if at this level a territory is unoccupied in the sense that no existing population lives there or makes claim to it and defends that claim, then it’s fair game.

Even the most under-policed and under populated areas of the southwest US, for example, have roads and electrical and phone lines cutting through them, put there by Americans under American laws and regulations.

    http://www.nationalreview.com/article/424010/jeremy-corbyn-british-labour-party-political-suicide

Labour didn't lose to Cameron because it went too far left. It was because Cameron went more globalist, even more than Labour. It is now turning 'far left' only because it lost and has nothing to win.. thus nothing to lose in saying what it really feels like.

So, the only hope for Labour to win is to go even more globalist than Cameron. (One advantage that the Tories have is the ability to win over globalist elites, the middle class, and conservatives who figure Tories are still better than Labour. Tories are pro-diversity --- enough to please the globalists and Liberals --- but also symbolically patriotic, and that draws white votes. In contrast, Labour is now so closely allied with diversity that it has problem pulling in whites). But if Labour goes even more globie than Cameron, it would be pointless. It'd be like playing chicken over a cliff.

So, Labour decided to lose politically but gain power as the principled opposition. Since it doesn't hope to win, it can say just about anything.

But a lot of whites, especially in key urban areas, conflate the GOP with hick 'racist' south.

Even as white Libs may sneer at him, they don't really hate him like they do people like Huckabee. Huckabee is nicer but from the south and not part of urban Lib culture. Trump, for all his 'racist' sayings about Mexico, is very much part of pushy NY. His style can pass for 'one of us' among urbanites.

There’s method to the madness. Labour need to win back Scotland. They need to kill the SNP. That’s their most urgent priority right now. Choosing Corbyn is an attempt to outflank the SNP on the left, since his brand of redestributionist socialism is popular there. Labour can win without the middle class white southern English vote (the sort of people who gave Blair his super-majorities), but they can’t win without the Scottish vote.

He’s also pro-immigration and anti-Israel which will give him the minority/Muslim vote in England.

Exactly. Also, is there a dumber argument than "we must let these people in because they have a historical grievance against us" (which includes the entire post-colonial Third World by the convention of the day)? We debate things as if we're all twelve year old children playing a game of verbal one-upsmanship to see who's the bigger doody-head, not as if our actions have consequences.

    Replies: @Cryptogenic, @bomag, @M-Dot

Agree. We try to win every argument on points when it’s many times better to put them in the defensive crouch. They don’t care about points and will always move the goalposts. Better to say “dang, you’re right, so let’s take your argument to the logical conclusion that supports my point.” – agree & amplify

Even worse is this silly Native American argument isn’t even saying “we must let these people in because they have a historical grievance against us,” but that “we must let these people in because someone else (NA or Blacks) have a historical grievance against us.” The silliness of such an argument is obvious.

  72. “Every immigrant is not a Tony Montana, but every Tony Montana is an immigrant.”

Wow, Mr. Mitchell, such insight. You should write a guest column for Mr. Unz. Tony Montana is a made up character, an over-the-top persona who could be Latino or European or Asian. Were your own ancestors Tony Montanas?

“Sorry, the only ones you mentioned who might have become Americans were the English. The rest of them are invaders and should have been deported. They will never be Americans.”

Chris Mallory, an American is a person who comes from a wide range of racial and ethnic backgrounds, who emigrated to this land by their own volition or against their will or whose ancestors were here for centuries. Where do YOU fit in?

I don’t think Harry was seriously considered for the role of Elvira, although I agree (as both Michelle and Deb do) that they look similar and that her hairstyle and mannerisms might have been consciously modeled after (then major female pop star) Harry’s.

Harry did, however, have one big role-that-got-away: Isabella Rosselini’s in Blue Velvet.

Harry’s about that same age now, has anyone won a first Best Actress at that age?

In the meantime, she’ s done some fairly good work in indie films in the nineties and 00’s. I particularly liked her role in Heavy with Liv Tyler and Shelley Winters.
