If there were a Russian version of the website PropOrNot, Academician Arbatov could find himself listed there as “American agent/dupe.” Arbatov directs the International Security Center of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He demonstrates his Washington leanings by his recommendation that Russia avoid a strategic alliance... Read More
The Kremlin held a winning hand in oil negotiations and did not play it. Washington and Saudi Arabia desperately needed Russian agreement to their plan to raise the price of oil by cutting production and reducing the supply of oil. Russia can tolerate $20 or $25 barrel of oil, but the highly leveraged and bankrupt... Read More
There is no evidence that Russia is interfering in the 2020 US presidential election in order to reelect Trump. Nor is there any reason for Russia to prefer Trump, who has done nothing for Russia. Indeed, Trump has imposed sanctions and endangered Russia by withdrawing from arms control agreements. The claims of interference reported by... Read More
Winston Churchill said that Russia was “a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.” Having read two contrasting news reports of attitudes in Russia, I understand what Churchill meant. General Valery Gerasimov, chairman of the Russian General Staff, has concluded from Washington’s many NATO intensified drills on Russia’s border that Washington and its NATO... Read More
Film-maker Oliver Stone has won 12 Academy Awards for his films. But this outstanding record doesn’t help when he seeks financing for a film critical of one of America’s wars. “You do those kinds of stories, it’s not going to happen.” Stone said that his dissent from the pro-war narrative has brought him “economic censorship.”... At this time, it is up to Israel whether or not war occurs between the US and Iran. Israel very much wants this war as a means of putting Iran and Syria into chaos, thus leaving Hezbollah isolated and unsupplied. Then Israel can succeed in occupying southern Lebanon. The American neoconservatives want Iran in chaos,... Read More
Vladimir Putin is the most impressive leader on the world stage. He survived and arose from a Russia corrupted by Washington and Israel during the Yeltsin years and reestablished Russia as a world power. He dealt successfully with American/Israeli aggression against South Ossetia and against Ukraine, incorporating at Crimea’s request the Russian province back into... Read More
A number of intelligent analysts predict Iranian retaliation for Washington’s murder of a high Iranian official who was in Iraq on a diplomatic mission. I understand their logic. However, I wonder. Putin doesn’t want war. Why should he when Washington’s arrogance is destroying the US and the empire. Even Germany has had enough of Washington... Read More
Stephen Cohen and I emphasize that the state of tension today between the United States and Russia is more dangerous than during the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union. For calling needed attention to the risk of nuclear war heightened by the current state of tension, both Cohen and I have been... Read More
By now Russians must wonder if the better relations they desire with the US are ever to be. US Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Democrat from Hawaii is the latest peacemaker to be declared “a Russian asset” by Hillary, the DNC, and the presstitutes. The way the Democrats, the presstitutes, and their Puppet Master—the military/security complex—have it... Read More
Washington’s Provocations of Russia and Russia’s Passivity Are Scheduling the Death of the Earth
The Zionist Neoconservatives who run US foreign policy are now herding the US out of the remaining arms limitations agreements. It appears that Washington intends to withdraw from the Open Skies agreement with Russia. The Open Skies Treaty allowed the US and Russia to overfly each other’s territory in order that there could be mutual... Read More
Insult after insult after insult, and the pathetic Russian Foreign Ministry still asks, “do the American authorities have no wish to normalize the dialogue?” Of course they don’t. How much evidence does the Russian Foreign Ministry need? The Americans arrest the son of a Russian lawmaker abroad far outside any legal US jurisdiction—they kidnapped him—and... Read More
This is a repost from March 19, 2018, prompted by Washington’s insistence that Iran is responsible for the attack on the Saudi oil facility. Even if it were true, what business is it of Washington? Iran did not attack the US. Why is it a matter of war for Americans if Iran were to attack... Read More
French president Emmanuel Macron is an American puppet. He was put in office by Washington. His current assignment is to deceive Russian president Putin by taking advantage of Russia’s longing to join the Western world. In a series of statements— “Russia is deeply European” (Aug. 20), “We need partnership with Russia to build a new... Read More
After falsely accusing Russia of violating the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), Washington unilaterally repudiated the treaty. Thus did the US military/security complex rid itself of the landmark agreement achieved by Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev that defused the Cold War. The INF Treaty was perhaps the most important of all of the arms control... Read More
The plunder is getting worse
American capitalism is based on plunder. With the continental USA plundered, American capitalism hoped to continue enriching itself by plundering Russia as it did under Yeltsin, carefully including the Russian “Atlanticist Integrationists” in the spoils in order to have support from the liberal, progressive forces in Russia for stripping Russia of its assets. But Putin... Read More
It is unfortunate that Tulsi Gabbard succumbed to the Israel Lobby. The forces of the Empire saw it as a sign of weakness and have set about destroying her. The ruling elite see Gabbard as a threat just as they saw Trump as a threat. A threat is an attractive political candidate who questions the... Read More

“The liberal idea has become obsolete. It has come into conflict with the interests of the overwhelming majority of the population.” — Vladimir Putin, President of Russia The importance of Putin’s statement is not only in its correctness but also in its repudiation of the policies of the liberal Russian Atlanticist Integrationists. According to news reports, the validity of which cannot be ascertained by the general public, a crazed US government came within ten minutes of igniting a general conflagration in the Middle East, the consequences of which could have been catastrophic for all. There is so much disinformation that it is difficult to judge the Israeli news report below that the US is planning a military attack on Iran. The ignorant warmonger masquerading as an American Secretary of State should be arrested for his impersonation of an American government official. Since 2016 the United States has been in the Russiagate box, a hoax created by the US military/security complex to prevent President Trump from normalizing relations with Russia. Normalized relations would devalue THE RUSSIAN THREAT, an orchestration that protects the $1,000 billion annual budget of the military/security complex. The Democratic Party, which most certainly is... Read More

What can we conclude from the utter and total failure of the Russiagate “investigation” to find any evidence of “Russian collusion”? We can conclude that it was a hoax cooked up by an utterly corrupt and immoral military/security complex determined to protect its $1,000 billion annual budget and the power that goes with it from... It is impossible not to feel some sympathy for President Donald Trump. Putin’s approval rating is high, but it has declined over the past year. The decline is mainly related to domestic policy. Trump’s surrender to the neoconservatives makes it impossible for an informed person to support him. The meetings in Beijing during January 30-31 between Washington, Russia, China, France and the UK apparently failed to preserve the commitment to prohibit intermediate range nuclear weapons. In order to protect himself from the military/security complex, President Trump has abandoned his intention of normalizing relations with Russia.
