Ya gotta feel sorry for poor old Joe Biden out on the campaign trail trying to remember the precise gibberish his staff taught him to say so he doesn’t get canceled. It would be fun to have a Peep Show style voiceover from inside Joe’s head:

“In prison the determination should be that your sexual …

Joe grimaces with effort.

C’mon, Joe, you can say it right!

identity is defined by what you say it is not what in fact the prison says it is.”

Jesus, did I just say that the Biden Administration will encourage convicted male rapists to claim to be women so they get sent to women’s prisons? Oh, well, maybe Trump will be too senile to remember during our debates.

Gone are the days when my heart was young and gay,
Gone are my friends from the Senate floor away,
Gone from the earth to a better land I know,
I hear their gentle voices calling “Old White Joe”.

I’m coming, I’m coming, for my head is bending low;
I hear those gentle voices calling, “Old White Joe”.

Why do I weep when my heart should feel no pain?
Why do I sigh that my friends come not again,
Grieving for forms now departed long ago?
I hear their gentle voices calling “Old White Joe”.

Where are the hearts once so happy and so free?
The children so dear that I held upon my knee,
Gone to the shore where my soul has longed to go.
I hear their gentle voices calling “Old White Joe”.

  4. Allowing males who claim to be female to be housed with women inmates turns the prison experience from something to be avoided at all costs into something to be pursued at all costs, at least for many low ethics men. If there was ever the exact opposite of the prison experience on earth, it would be that. People might say, “But you’re not allowed leave,” but why would those guys want to?

    • Replies: @Anonymous
I would speculate that the sheer survival necessity would get the women to band together to lop off the junk of the invading men, either by groups of the butchest toughest lezzos (several of which could probably jump on any male prisoner unless maybe he's a Chuck Zito type) or the most seductive to bed him and when he dozes off snare the offending parts off with a loop of music wire or a shattered bottle or whatever.

Or they could ALL demand to be put in Punk Central, and the male invder would have to be segregated for reasons of sheer space.

Most women prisoners are in for a short time because they don’t commit serious offenses. So as soon as they get released they can contact attorneys and sue the prison systems. Ha ha ha
    , @Olorin
I imagine it depends on the kind of female inmates in question. Some of the ones in for more serious behavioral excesses might not cotton to having a peenywomin show up in the block.

OTOH, maybe the state is hoping to save some money on wangoplasty procedures.

If a guy in the joint claims to be a girl, and hopes by that ruse to get in with the girls, then it might be a good idea to help him along in his ambition to be a girl, with a little surgery, before the transfer.

I figured it was always on the lefty boomer 1960s (long-term) list. Another factor for instigating “The Great Awokening” was that the Greatest Generation and the Silents either sufficiently died off or possessed no more leverage over their Boomer kids. That the estate inheritance was no longer in danger of being revoked by Boomer debauchery. The Gore Vidal stuff was still too spicy for general folk until 2010. I’d imagine getting nicked for weird activities (masturbating while engaging in self-asphyxiation in a Batman costume) might downsize your inheritance share. Now, you might as well post it on Facebook.

Inheritance taxes seem super low compared to in the past. With one parent likely dead and one on a banana peel, many probably thought it was safe to green-light some of the ole 1960s ideas. I remember reading in the “Days of Rage” domestic terrorism book, that the Weather Underground had some crazy orgies. I had the pleasure of seeing their last performance before they broke up. It was at the Warfield in San Francisco in 93. Such a great venue to see groups close up and I saw so many bands there in the early/mid-90s (The Sundays, Sugar Cubes, The Smithereens, They Might Be Giants, Sisters of Mercy, My Life With Thrill Kill Cult, were among the best; David Bowie, The Alman Brothers Band, were among the worst).

Apparently after that performance, there were some "mental" issues with one of the members and the band disbanded for several years, and their moment passed.

Forbes Ave. was the only street between the old location of the Stephen Foster statue in Schenley Square and the deceptively named, so-called Cathedral of Learning, Hence "across the street."

It was a straight walk past the soon-to-be-renamed Stephen Foster Memorial (which was designed by Charles Klauder to complement his Cathedral of Learning) on the other side of Forbes Ave.

On a more interesting and less pedantic note, the artist who made the Stephen Foster statue was Giuseppe Moretti. Now that's diversity!

    , @S. Anonyia
All the leaders of the 60s/early 70s hippie/cult/social movements were generally part of the Silent Generation, not the Boomers. Because they were at peak charisma in their mid 20s to mid 30s then. Boomers were the kids who followed them (no I’m not a boomer and my parents barely are, they are “Generation Jones” by some definitions).

Also my deceased grandparents were part of the Greatest Generation, and that group was wilder than you think. My grandmother admitted to smoking marijuana as a teenager in the early 40s, and it was the norm for them to drink all night at any social gathering once they were adults. Police didn’t care one bit about drunk driving unless it came from a known troublemaker. And gambling was more common among the upper classes, instead of appealing mainly to blue collar proles like today. I guess they didn’t like weirdos and sex roles were somewhat more defined (they were still more feminist of a generation than portrayed though), sure. But other than that, most of the Greatest Generation who lived in urban areas weren’t all that strait-laced.

New Monopoly Game Gives Women More Money Than Men

Hasbro officially brought the gender pay gap to game night with its new feminist version of Monopoly called “Ms. Monopoly.”

The new version of the classic board game comes with new rules: Women players will collect $240 in Monopoly money while male players will only collect $200. Women also collect $1,900 in Monopoly money from the banker player at the beginning of the game while men collect $1,500.

Ms. Monopoly will be “the first-ever game in the Monopoly franchise that celebrates women trailblazers,” according to Hasbro’s press release, and will feature a new, female character on the box cover instead of the game’s original mustachioed mascot, Rich Uncle Pennybags.

Are there more M-to-F trans people or more TERFs (= Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists)?

I would guess more TERFs, and TERFs must share the common view that putting men who say they are women into women’s prisons is howling insanity.

Along with the Trans people, there must be other Dems so caught up in WWT that they’ll view what Biden said positively, but those loons are more likely to vote for a more extreme candidate. It must be dawning on Dem voters who are at most slightly insane that Joe is senile.

So I expect Joe to keep fading. I’ll be surprised if he hasn’t thrown in the towel by the end of the year.

Additionally, like Hillary he will be physically unable to match Trump on the campaign trail. Trump will be doing his usual three rallies in three different states per day while Joe will be lucky to do one or two per week.

Yet that America no longer exists. The democrats know that they can run a dog like Biden and he already has CA, IL, NY, MA and a host of other states locked up. Presumably he can be brain dead and will still win those states. I guess they think because he is from PA and is White, he can ensure the democrats take back PA. If he can do this and flip one or two other Great Lake states, he will become our next president.

Thank you diversity for making our elections a farce. Gone are the days where Ronald Reagan could win 49 states (only lost MN by a couple K) and the democrats could still win overwhelming control of the House of Representatives in the same election.

Thanks to diversity that America no longer exists. Issue driven elections no longer exist. And half-senile empty suits like Biden have a better than 50-50 chance of becoming president.

Biden Taking Iraq Lies to the Max

Biden did initially back a bill along with Republican Sen. Richard Lugar which would have somewhat constrained Bush’s capacity to launch an invasion of Iraq completely at his whim. But the Bush administration opposed the measure. One might have thought that such opposition would lead Biden to conclude that Bush insisting on not having any constrain would be a reason not to write him a blank check. But not Biden. He of course voted for the legislation giving Bush the complete license he wanted.

Bush ended up launching the war by telling the UN to get the weapons inspectors out — thus forcing an end to their work — before starting to bomb the country. Immediately, Biden co-sponsored a resolution backing Bush.

Tracey writes “It’s unclear whether the Delaware senator genuinely believes the tale he is currently telling, or if it’s the product of his apparent cognitive decline.” But, Biden has been lying about Iraq for years and years and years and years. He was chair of the Senate Foreign Releations Committee in 2002 and presided over hearings that were called rigged at the time by actual critics of the Iraq invasion.

The only people left in the men’s prison system would be homosexuals and women who started identifying as men just to get away from the men identifying as women.

Kind of like the fact that unless immigration is stopped politically, the only thing that will stop immigration is too much immigration – people will quit coming here when the prior amount of immigration has made the country so crowded and poor that it will stop.

We could have three types of prisons. One for sexual freaks and hairies, another for dykes and fairies, a third for the criminally insane. The residual would be released back into society for identity re-education. They could later earn assignment to a prison upon merit and establishment of proper identification.

That someone said “The army that fucks together, fights together.” Someone left just because the crabs got too bad.

Another factor for instigating “The Great Awokening” was that the Greatest Generation and the Silents either sufficiently died off

Uh, who do you think passed the civil rights and immigration acts, and packed the Roe-era courts? Who crushed Barry Goldwater and instigated affirmative action? Who only selectively “incorporated ” the Bill of Rights? Who emptied the prisons?

Nobody can do basic arithmetic anymore.

They also played a role in the substantial backlash when those policies failed utterly. Those poor souls thought these policies were going to help people (i.e. everyone.) That Blacks were more or less cognitively equal to whites and abortion/crime were going to decline. That civil rights were to remain symmetrical, not the minority enshrined “protected persons” (preferred status) that it eventually became. They supported Reagan when the time came. Remember, old school liberalism is essentially dead. You currently have “culturally liberal, but economically conservative” Clintons and Bernie Sanders socialists.

In terms of arithmetic, Boomers have been running the show for the last few decades.

    Greatest Generation: 25 million

    Silent Generation: 40 Million

    Baby Boomers: 75 Million

They opened the floodgates to illegal immigration. Which appeared to be a bipartisan event. Boomers never really wanted to change the existing laws either. Numerically, there was nothing stopping them from rewriting/abolishing these laws. Plenty of candidates ran on stamping out Roe v. Wade and illegal immigration. But that realistically left them with a very nasty and perpetually growing problem: more blacks on more welfare.

If immigration remained closed shut. Imagine how much larger the Black population would’ve been. LA may very well became a Baltimore. I’m sure that was a great fear for many city democrats and neoconservatives. That they strongly supported Sailer’s Slate debate opponents approach to abortion.

No one can be surprised by this latest move.

In their successful efforts to destroy the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, Hasbro had the names of all the humanoid monsters called some form of men changed from “men” to “folk” (e.g., lizardmen became lizardfolk), and eliminated any art which so much as depicted a female’s ankles, because chainmail bikinis in the tradition of Frazetta, Elmore, Easley, Parkinson, and Brom are, like, the oppressive patriarchy…folk!

There's an entire hardcover book (with two authors!) for consent in roleplaying games. These are generally games mimicking fairy tales, involving slave-using para-historical societies, abducted princesses, burglary, and mortal combat.

  73. C’mon Steve, Joe needs to appeal to a younger demographic. These lyrics fit:

    I remember when
    I almost lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place
Even your emotions have an echo in so much space
And when you’re out there, you’re out there without care
    I was out of touch
But it wasn’t because I didn’t know enough
    I just knew too much
    Does that make me crazy?
    Does that make me crazy?
    Does that make me crazy?
    Possibly
And I hope that you are
Having the time of your life
    But you better think twice
    That’s my only advice
Come on here, come on here now
Who do you think you are?
    Bless your little soul
Do you really think you’re the one in control?
    Well, I think you’re crazy
    I think you’re crazy
    I think you’re crazy
    Exactly like me
All my heroes have always had the heart
To lose their lives out on a limb
And all I remember is thinking, when I grow up
I want, I want to be just like them
Ever since I was a little girl
It all looked like so much fun
There ain’t no coincidence that I’ve come
And when I die, when I die I’ll be done
    Maybe I’m crazy
    Maybe you’re crazy
    Maybe we’re both crazy
    Probably
    Probably
    Crazy
    Crazy
    Crazy
    Probably
    Probably
    Crazy

That someone said “The army that fucks together, fights together.” Someone left just because the crabs got too bad.

What I find troubling is that in an America of not too many years ago the democrats would know Joe is too far gone to run for president. The mistakes he is making now are just going to get worse if he becomes the nominee. If he is the nominee it will be just he and Trump. There won't be a flock of silly democrats taking up the news cycle so he can hide and avoid interviews.

…half-senile empty suits like Biden have a better than 50-50 chance of becoming president.

Definitely didn't want to stop the "invade" part (even if the memory hole now says otherwise)

He was chair of the Senate Foreign Releations Committee in 2002 and presided over hearings that were called rigged at the time by actual critics of the Iraq invasion.

istevefan was talking about Pat Buchanan, not Joe Biden.

Allowing males who claim to be female to be housed with women inmates turns the prison experience from something to be avoided at all costs into something to be pursued at all costs, at least for many low ethics men. If there was ever the exact opposite of the prison experience on earth, it would be that. People might say, "But you're not allowed leave," but why would those guys want to?

I imagine it depends on the kind of female inmates in question. Some of the ones in for more serious behavioral excesses might not cotton to having a peenywomin show up in the block.

Are there more M-to-F trans people or more TERFs (= Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists)?

Along with the Trans people, there must be other Dems so caught up in WWT that they’ll view what Biden said positively, but those loons are more likely to vote for a more extreme candidate. It must be dawning on Dem voters who are at most slightly insane that Joe is senile.

He was instrumental in forming ARINC, the sanctioning body for airline communications which still sets important standards for aviation equipment.

…there were some “mental” issues with one of the members…

Interesting post and please don’t take offense to this, but I think that “mental issues” are an understatement for describing most “Rock” bands – especially the chick bands like “Concrete Blonde.”

Personally, I think that severe “mental issues” are an absolute requirement to succeed in entertainment.

We could have three types of prisons. One for sexual freaks and hairies, another for dykes and fairies, a third for the criminally insane. The residual would be released back into society for identity re-education. They could later earn assignment to a prison upon merit and establishment of proper identification.

We could have three types of prisons.

    Yes. Yes we could.

I'm astounded Leslie van Houten got turned down again. The guy who ran into Sinatra's thug pally will probably get out before she does. When Little Nancy (now 79-but Big Nancy made >100) dies he might.

    … Little Nancy (now 79…)

Really?! She sounds like she’s 120+ on the Siriusly Sinatra channel. I hope she doesn’t have laryngeal dystonia that affected Diane Rehm and forced her to retire from NPR. Both have/had some interesting stories to tell from a woman’s perspective.

Joe got applause for saying that male convicts who say their sexual identity is female should go to prisons for women.

I’ll be surprised if the Dem nominee is not the 0.1% Native American princess.

  115. There was a little moment of horrible honesty at another blog years ago which today might be wrongly dismissed as creepiness. The story commented on was about the exposure of goings-on at a women’s prison, the guards thought they were in a late night Cinemax feature, and it was very organized and coordinated so there was no denial or “just one guy” scapegoating. It was like the entire staff.
And the blogger asks: what kind of person wants to work at a women’s prison but a bad kind of person?
There’s a similar, widely attested complaint from ths military, chicks getting pregnant just in time to get out of deploying, or heavily mixed commands where females leverage their work load or trouble by helping guys out.

"Shattered," by Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen, is worth your time if you are interested in the inner working of Hillary's campaign. While no literary work of art, it provides a great deal of insight into Clinton's role as candidate-in-chief.

While a number of people working for her campaign had their doubts about her approach, they were also keen to ride her coattails, and knew Clinton well enough to know that she didn't appreciate unwelcome insights.

One thing that comes through in this account -- a fairly sympathetic account of Clinton, by the way -- is that she had conspicuously bad political instincts and next to no feel for the people whom she ostensibly aspired to represent.

The "deplorables" comment is of course a particularly memorable example of this.

On the surface that seems to make sense, but you need to look more closely at who supports Biden and why. You also need to look at why Hillary lost in 2016.

The key is black voters. They had record turnout for Obama in the Obama elections, and equally important, did not turn out for Hillary in 2016.

Biden's has the support of black voters as they see him as Obama's "house white" who has been trained to be "on their side".

Sanders and Warren (the other two top challengers) do not connect with blacks, who see them as they saw Hillary, elite whites who will be focused on "white issues". Promises don't count--only a proven track record counts. What they say does not count--what they have done counts. Votes in the Senate just don't count. Pandering just comes across as pathetic whitey lies.

In the key electoral votes states that are in play (including PA, MI, WI) black turnout is critical.

Black _turnout_ cannot be measured by polls, because polls make assumptions on turnout that cannot be tested until election day. This is why so many _experts_ can't understand what is happening or will happen.

Biden, senile Joe, is the ideal candidate for black voters. He is house-broken, the best kind of whitey dog.

That is why Trump can most likely defeat Sanders and Warren, but could lose to Biden in the general election.

If a guy in the joint claims to be a girl, and hopes by that ruse to get in with the girls, then it might be a good idea to help him along in his ambition to be a girl, with a little surgery, before the transfer.

I imagine it depends on the kind of female inmates in question. Some of the ones in for more serious behavioral excesses might not cotton to having a peenywomin show up in the block.

OTOH, maybe the state is hoping to save some money on wangoplasty procedures.

But we the taxpayers will again pay when the “still functional” mentally ill (“transgender”) prisoner impregnates some actual female prisoner.
