Who is the only very prominent person in the Russian elites whom Navalny hasn’t gone to great lengths to criticize? Which major state-owned corporation hasn’t had an investigative dossier written about it by the Anti-Corruption Fund (even though an ordinary analyst at Sberbank’s investment arm managed to find no shortage of very suspicious things about its conduct)? Indeed, who is the only person in Russia apart from Putin who is widely rumored to be more powerful than Dmitry Medvedev, and as such, presumably capable of protecting someone who made a mortal enemy of the Prime Minister for exposing his corruption? And which Russian political faction would have a general interest in using someone like Navalny as a check on the ambitions of systemic liberals in general?

And just to think of all the unleashed passions and kerfuffles between “pro-Western democratists” and “Kremlin trolls” that Navalny has provoked over the years. If this conspiracy theory is true, that would be really, really hilarious in the grand scheme of things.

  1. So are you talking about Sechin? The faction would be the “siloviki” I guess, and the Wagner guy you mentioned earlier that was spotted in the same building with Navalny is simply someone who gives Navalny his orders?

Pretty smart if true I must say. The Russians have picked a thing or two from the Americans if they create controlled opposition like this. I am not sure how to feel about this in general, but exposing the corruption of “systemic liberals” in such a way is good by itself.

It's not always necessarily that interesting or sinister.

Some of it is just reflection that it's always a very small, interbred community in the political/media sphere.

For example, I found with my internet skills that Peskov's children and second wife, are friends of Ksenia Sobchak, and they take selfies of each other eating dinner together (lol no journalists report this). I guess Peskov had also been friends with her, but just avoids such selfies.

Or, for example, for some of Kristina Potupchik's older birthday parties (of a few years ago, before she had publicly moderated her views), it seems like perhaps half her friends are alumni of "Nashi" and half of her friends are liberals (including some more whiny young liberal journalists), and they are hugging and drinking champagne together.

  2. Igor seems to be a very common name among covert action specialists who embarrass Putin and die suddenly in their 50s. But then the most dangerous “missions” Russian men go on are not of the military variety.

  3. Not understanding this, is this trying to say that Navalny works for Putin?

  4. @Spisarevski

Correct, there are numerous examples of the same type of thing from similar figures. Naryshkin hanging around with liberals, Matvienko too. Sobyanin had the liberast prick editor of Nezavisimaya Gazeta as one of his campaign leaders

I would also say that RT is almost certainly full of liberasts, Soros-loving, USAID loving, Navalny hamsters. I remember watching it a few years ago and one of the reporters seemed to be "reporting from Florida" whilst heavily pregnant....in other words a pseudo-patriot choosing to give birth in America, probably to give the kid a chance of getting American citizenship.

Now I have zero problem at all with a pregnant Russia women, with money, choosing to go to the nice warm climate and nice hospitals in Florida to give birth...particularly in the previous decade.
But this type of thing, done by a RT journalist, with that job and in this time, seemed typical of your standard liberast vermin hyprocrite.
A proven patriot like Kobzon wanting to go to Germany for his cancer treatment , is perfectly normal....this pregnancy explotation by this secret liberast journalist?.....most definitely not

You know I cant actually remember anything vaguely pro-Russia on RT, about the only argument seems to be about how bad the invasion of Iraq and Libya was.

  5. Navalny could be a shareholder in BP, which owns 20% of Rosneft.
He has gone after ( with random nonsense) numerous state companies, but I suppose oil has the biggest foreign investors, i.e people who pay this dickhead, Mr Kostroma 2%

As conspiracies theories go, this could be valid, although it pretty much every Gruzian and ukrop election candidate and Russian liberast ( amongst eachother) has been accused of working for the Kremlin at numerous point in their lives…understandably because many have either parasited from them, worked for them, got Russian citizenship…or been so unbelievably dumb and discredited, that the most logical explanation is to think they work for the Russian state

  6. Maybe one test for Navalny, is to see what is the situation in the future with his daughter for university.

Navalny says his income is about 5 million rubles a year, which is from his “legal advice”. And he works for free for his main job.

I don’t know if this the normal salary for “legal advice”. But at least his lifestyle currently seems completely consistent with his income.

For example, his daughter jokes in her videos about her lack of designer clothes.

So if his daughter studies abroad for university, or not, and if she does. Because stated income Navalny would not be nearly enough to afford to pay for university tuition fees (for Russian students, for who they increase the price multiple times) in England or America, if his income statement is accurate. But it is believed she is likely studying for international baccalaureate program which is in her school, which would enable her to go easily to university there (in terms of international academic requirements). If she studies just in Russia or at least a cheaper (for foreign university students’ tuition) country, then this will all be consistent with his stated income.

I guess RT should be seen just as an expensive, counterproductive way of trolling Western media.

The only reason I am happy with them, is when I was learning Spanish two years ago, I multitasked playing their Spanish YouTube channel all day in my headphones while I was working, and unconsciously learned to understand Spanish.

It's one of the only YouTube channels which is streaming live all day on YouTube, and most presenters for RT speak attractive Latin American Spanish. If you like multitasking while learning Spanish, this is the best service in the internet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqY92qg_yPs

She has the most annoying accent and mannerisms ever, essentially the most basic and vapid Californian Valley girl imaginable who so happens to have a Russian name.

If this is what the children of Russian elite children are like, I weep for its future. How can you adopt the culture, and the worst ones in fact, of the very people that have a borderline genocidal hatred towards you?

There's a reason why all enemies of America have thoroughly banned SWPL culture. The fact that Russia not only didn't ban such lifestyle choices, but actively encourage it, shows me how either out of touch or inept with societal control the Russian elite really are.

SWPLdom, proliferation of burgers or fast fashion, consuming American media, or speaking English with such an annoying accent and using such mannerisms should be made as toxic as being gay in Russia.

Alyona Minkovski is not the only example, where the parents just give their children a media career.

For example the fellow in the video at 0:19 (who was presenter of MTV) - seems his career was just bought (his parents also bought him a fashionable restaurant when he was 21).

You can also see in the same video the son of the oligarch who owns LifeNews - this son was a gay boyfriend of that guy whose parents made him MTV presenter according to Ksenia Sobchak .

Its not the media careers I have a problem with, but the cargo cultish ways that they blindly lap up Western "culture" and now have morphed into essentially rich Western girls except with Russian names. The Russian silovarky/oligarchy's children seem completely indistinguishable from Westerners of the same social or economic status.

Imagine Russia, embargoed, blockaded, and designated as State Sponsor of Terror, with a bunch of vapid fake Westerners at the helm. This is what its gonna look like if these people run Russia in the future.

That's just a symbol of defeat. You never. NEVER. EVER. adopt the culture of your enemy.

A based, embargoed Russia should ban all Hollywood and all Western or Western-influenced media; this means no rap or no Western-style pop. The SWPL Western lifestyle should also be banned. Eating burgers, listening to American music, or chilling in Gorky Park while dressed like how New Yorkers or Californians dress when the US is out for your blood is extremely unpatriotic, and should be considered an act of treason. This type of cultural cargo cultism is what will ultimately do Russia in.

Besides Russia, Venezuela is the only truly anti-US country that laps up Western media, and we all know how weak and inept they are.

I'm not sure it has these implications.

So, we know heir of the oligarch who owns LifeNews, is a gay hipster. But does this imply LifeNews will become gay television, promoting sexual minorities, if the oligarch ever will gives it to his children?

No, because LifeNews follows government policy, and government is elected by the country, where most people ("deep people" as Surkov says, wtf) live in very different conditions than the children of the oligarch.

Moreover, remember, median age in Russia is 40 years for 2019. And will be higher by the next election. So mainstream politics will simply be conservative politics in the future. The current situation with Putin is still a healthy equilibrium - where most parts of society are appeased.

I can imagine culture becomes more conservative in the future, but also with trends favouring political stability. Perhaps someone like Orban will come.

What you say is partly true - and has always been the situation. Now the way of dressing, is more like equivalent in Paris.

I'll add a video where you can recognize some famous social media faces (or instagram youth with important parents) - I agree the metrosexuality is going way too much with those particular guys.

Moreover, remember, median age in Russia is 40 years for 2019. And will be higher by the next election. So mainstream politics will simply be conservative politics in the future. The current situation with Putin is still a healthy equilibrium – where most parts of society are appeased.

I can imagine culture becomes more conservative in the future, but also with trends favouring political stability. Perhaps someone like Orban will come.

now have morphed into essentially rich Western girls except with Russian names. The Russian silovarky/oligarchy’s children seem completely indistinguishable from Westerners of the same social or economic status

What you say is partly true – and has always been the situation. Now the way of dressing, is more like equivalent in Paris.

I’ll add a video where you can recognize some famous social media faces (or instagram youth with important parents) – I agree the metrosexuality is going way too much with those particular guys.
